Daisy's POV

I still can't believe that I met Axel two days ago and he didn't even recognized me, I never expected him to meet like this though I am thankful that he thought I was Alice cause it would have been awkward for both of us.

But he have changed a lot, he seemed more clammer as compared to the old Axel.
He even have changed a lot from outside, that white shirt fitted him so perfectly.. hugging him like his second skin, I bet he's been working out and definitely have pretty good abs, though his jaw line is totally the same which was 8 years ago, even his green eyes have become a shade darker. I can't believe things have changed a lot since these 8 years, we are no more the same, and when I left things even became more worse that topic has always been kept under shed by both me and Axel. But I miss the old us, we never expressed our friendship in front of our family or friends, we prefer to share our things with each other and later just forget that we shared that, it was our one of the little secrets. But I never wondered that we won't stay the same, I  miss the old us. 

" Daisy!" mom called for me.

"Uh... yes"

"What are you thinking? Have your dessert Sweetie!"

"Yaa" Mom and Dad arrived Yesterday night. Now we were having desert after dinner. 

"I forgot to tell you both that Emily and I have thought of having a Dinner together . Is tomorrow good with both of you?" Mom asked.

"Yes it is okay, its been quite a while since I met Noah, Emily, The twins and Axel."

At the mention of his name I was again caught up with the thought, how can he not remember me!?

Well why do I need him to remember me, Tbh it doesn't matter right?!

No it doesn't.

Of course it does!

I ignored my subconscious and tried to find a way out of the dinner.

"Actually Mom I won't be able to attend!" but I already knew that she won't buy that.

" Why? We are meeting them after such a long time. I think you should "

"I am busy tomorrow, Demi and I are going to visit publishing house tomorrow" I reasoned.

"Are you going to be in publishing house whole day?" My mom gave me the sarcasm of the day.

"No, but mom-"

"No buts! You gonna come and that's final, You too mason" Mom exclaimed.

" Yes honey I won't miss it" Dad replied.

"Actually I forgot to tell you that Axel visited me day before yesterday." I added

"Really? what did you talked about? How was he?"

"He didn't recognized, He thought I am Alice."

"So you told him that you are Daisy right?" Dad questioned.

"No I didn't"

"Why?" Mom asked.

"Cause you know, both us never ever got along and I find it weird to just say that.."

"Well.. That's fine tomorrow we are going to meet them anyway!" Mom replied.

"But Mom-"

"You are coming. And that's final" mom exclaimed.

Dad and Mom were engulfed in there talk while I called that a night got inside my room and decided to sleep as tomorrow I was going to visit a publishing house with my manger and it is truth but it won't obviously take a whole day.
