IF Mapleshade didn't die, let's be honest she would have murdered Reedshine. And stopped the bloodline of Appledusks.
She would have also probably found Appledusks apprentice and also killed him.I mean if someone tries to kill you but fails- that person is screwed 😰
I could also see her trying to return to ThunderClan after Oak'Star dies. And so does his current deputy at the time. Mostly because I belive they would forgive her. Sure she killed what? 3 - 4 cats? But Thunderclan doesn't know that. All they see is a poor banished queen, whoms kits tragically died by drowning.
But if Mapleshade didn't die, it would mean Crookedstars his kits, and his mate would still be living with him through his reign. And Goosefeather and Tigerclaw / Star would not have trained or chatted with her. Ruining some of the arcs.
