Exam Jitters

Author's note: Hey friends, I know it has been a long time since I updated. My college has started and because I am studying for my 12th board I don't think I will be updating much.
Also, this update is about a little older Shivi. I decided to post this today on account of Father's Day. Hope you guys like it ❤

"Mein fail ho gayi toh?" 15-year-old Shivi asked as she stood outside her examination centre.

"Aye, tu Shiva Pandya ki beti hai jo kisise nahi darti. Aur yeh toh sirf ek exam hai. Apna 100 percent dena aur baaki sab Somnath pe chod dena. Aur yeh marks ka tension mat le. Samjhi kya!," Shiva said as he handed over the board hall ticket to his daughter, who was now attempting to read from three books at once.

"Par agar mujhe 95% se zyaada nahi aaye toh mein Tara Didi ki tarah M.K. college mein nahi pad paungi. Mein aapko disappoint nahi karna chahti."

"Kisne kaha tu mujhe disappoint karegi? Mujhe aap pe humesha garv hoga chahe aapko kitna bhi pecentage aa jaye. Aur waise bhi, Gujarat mein bohot saare colleges hai. Maayne yeh rakhta hai ki aap apni padhai poori kare. Padhai bohot zaroori hota hai Shivi, aapke Papa ne yeh bohot late realize kiya. Par aap mujhe promise karo ki aap apni padhai poori karke apne saare sapne poori karenge."

"I promise you, Papa, mein poori mehnat karungi aur acche number laungi. Thankyou, humesha mere saath dena ke liye, mujhe motivate karne ke liye. You are the Bestest Papa."

The bell rang, signaling that it was time for the students to return to their respective classrooms.

"Bye, Papa. paper 3 ghante ka hai. Tab tak aap kya karenge? Aap chaahe toh store jaa sakte hai. Bahar bohot garmi hai."

"Mein yahi pe tera wait karunga. Tu meri chinta mat kar. Paper pe dhyaan de. Aur zyaada stress mat le."

"I love you, Dad," Shivi said as she kissed her father on the cheek and walked towards the building. "Best of luck Shivi, paper mein aag laga dena," Shiva yelled as Shivi dashed to her classroom, still laughing at her father's obsession with burning things.
