I'm so sorry I swear that I thought I posted this one Friday. I don't know how I forgot.

 "YOU WIN"

The message sparkled on the screen of the phone, greeting for another level beaten, the screen once bright and full of colors soon became black, with only the purple bright eyes reflecting on it.

— EZ. — Jera said while yawning, throwing another random plush her hand reached across the room, just to see it cease movement mid-air.

Purple patterns float around the room with hypnotic movements, sustaining everything in stasis, except for Jera herself that watched with satisfaction the lack of movement, a time bubble of their own, a little place where everything flows according to her desires where no bother could reach. A bubble of profound peace.

That until the click of the door handle broke the subtle absence of motion, sending the hostage plushies back on their way to the ground, standing in the door was Seraphina, her voice with ample elegance saying:

— Dinner is ready sweety, pick it all up before you come, please.

— Fine…  — Jera said gathering the stuffed plushies and returning them to the bed with deep care, making sure they are all within reach for the next time.

Leaving the room after what felt like ages Jera cursed the light while squinting her eyes, walking unsteadily to the kitchen to be welcomed with the pleasant aroma of salsa and cheese, her stomach growling like a reminder that spending 10 hours in games doesn't do good for the body.

— Cutting vegetables and meat makes me relax, I always had a thing about stabbing stuff… — John mumbled while holding the knife with a fascine.

Giggling Jera took a bite, saying that the food was superb would be humble, getting lost in her plate Jera was barely hearing the conversation on the table; until one sentence grab her attention.

— Tomorrow we will be going to aunt Leilah's house, we'll be having a party since your ability manifested.

— Yeah, praise me, mortals! — Jera said activating her ability between bites, only to see the unimpressed faces of her parents much her displeasure. — Ok boomers…

— It'll be great, you'll have a chance to meet your new school friends. — Sera said with a warm smile that made her daughter, stop in place.

— Hold up what? — The words left Jera's lips alongside her skin color.

— It's about time for you to socialize more, the school will be good for you. — John continued, making the heterochromatic eyes of the little girl lose their brightness.

— School is lame as hell, they make me wear a uniform, and class sucks, mom teaches me better anyways… — She murmured burying her face in her crossed arms.

— It's not debatable. Jera, you're growing, you need to experience a normal childhood. — John clarified with a serious tone.

— Fine, whatever you say… — She whispered with a weak and sad tone.

— Cheer up Jera, it's movie night after all. — The tar-haired man said with a smile.

— Poggers. — Suddenly Jera came back to her normal energy
