Sorry about the slow updates, been busy with school
I finished buttoning up my shirt, sitting in my stall watching everyone else talk and get dressed. Darling came up to me.
"Hey you played great tonight darls" I said.
"Learned from the best sir" He laughed. "Happy early birthday dude" We bro hugged.
"Thank you."
"So how does 31 feel?" He asked as he grabbed his bag while I grabbed mine.
"Sore"
"Hey have you ever thought of marrying Lexi?"
"All the time, is that weird?" I whispered.
"No not at all, means you loooooooooooove her!" He smirked, I shoved him into the wall. "Lexi and Corey sitting in a Tre-"
"Shut your mouth man" I growled.
"Sorry" He snickered. "Any ideas on how you'd do it?"
"No clue" Actually I did have an idea I just wasn't gonna let him tell the whole team.
We said our goodbyes and left the united center.
I walked into Lexi and I's condo.
"Lexi?" I dropped my bag off by the door and walked into our living room to find Lex cuddled up a pillow wearing my jersey and CSN on reviewing the highlights of tonight's win. I smiled and gently picked her up bridal style and carried her to our bed, tucking her in then going to shower.
"Corey?" She sleeply asked as I walked wearing a pair of sweats.
"Yes honey?" She just lifted the covers and looked at me with her big eyes. I crawled into bed, she curled up to my chest tracing my abs. "Hey what are you doing next weekend?" I whispered twirling her hair with my finger.
"Yea why?"
"I wanna get away from Chicago for the long weekend, I booked us tickets to Florida.
"Disney?"
"Course baby girl" I kissed her forehead and let her fall asleep.
