Love At First Sight
Adrian's POV:
I was in class [BORING] the teacher starts to introduce the assignment that I will most likely not do, the teacher pulls up the assignment and I see the most drop-dead gorgeous girl I've ever seen in my life. She is NASCAR's first Arab American female driver. The assignment was to read an article about her and answer a few questions. I got my computer and went to the assignment as fast as I could. I opened the article and read and read until I found her name. Her name is Toni Breidinger. I looked her up then suddenly I found the love of my life. She is perfect everything about her was perfect. My best friend Carlos was next to me and he saw that I was just staring at her pictures. I looked more into her and found out she had a twin sister. She was also pretty but not as pretty as Toni. Carlos looked at her twin and I could tell he was also in love. I sneakily got my phone out and searched her name on Instagram and I found her pretty easily. She had 200,000 followers. I knew I wouldn't have a chance but I decided to slide into her DMS anyway.
Toni's POV:
My manager came into my room and let me know that the next day I was going to the University of Southern California. (a football college) I was told to make a speech about what I do and how I got to where I am today. I got started on my speech and I realized I hate public speaking so I called my sister and convinced her to come to the school with me.
-----------THE NEXT DAY ----------
Adrian POV:
I walked into class about 30 minutes late, no biggie, the teacher is used to it at this point "Ah so glad you can join us, Mr. Alvaro.'' Mr. Hawkins said he's a good teacher. I like him. He helps me out a lot after class but he acts as if he hates me in class so I can keep up my reputation. "You just in time our special guest is about to arrive," Hawkins said. Special guest? I thought to myself I tried not to think about it and sat next to Carlos the guest was probably going to give a boring speech. The next thing I know men were coming in with giant cameras and lights they were setting up. It looked like a studio in the class. Then my eyes lit up as I saw her walk in with a stack of papers in her hand... It was Toni. Carlos was teasing me saying that I should ask her out. I know she's 22 and I'm only 21. She probably likes older men and I know I have no sh0t anyway. Then a few seconds later another girl walked in. It was Annie, her twin sister and I could tell Carlos was practically in love with her already.
Toni's POV:
I was going over my speech with my manager and sister. I love them so much that I don't know what I would do without them. I finished reading my speech and when I looked up my manager was clapping with a big smile on her face while my sister was dozing off looking in a completely different direction. I looked where she was looking and there were two boys who I knew for sure she was looking at one of them. I waved my hand in her face and still nothing she was still staring at the boys. "EARTH TO ANNIE HELLOOOO" I whisper/screamed in her ear when she finally realized she was staring for a while. "Who's the boy?" I asked smugly. "I don't know but he's cute and the boy next to him is meh, ok I guess." she said confidently "Meh? If anything that boy is cuter than the one you're looking at" I stated. "Who cares anyway it's not like you're going to see them ever again after this," I said a bit worried this time because she was staring again. "Yea I guess you're right so let's get this thing over with," Annie said with a slightly sad tone.
---------AFTER THE SPEECH --------
Adrian's POV:
She finished the speech and my god she was- I mean it was an amazing speech. I'm not going to lie, I was staring at her the whole time and not paying attention but who cares? It's not like there's an assignment on it? "Alright, class I want to see if you are paying attention so I'm going to pass the paper and you will write an essay on what her speech was about," Hawkins said. This has to be fake. I turned to Carlos. He's a half-decent student. I know he knows a lot more than me so I asked him "yo what was she talking about" I asked whispered. Just her life stuff and the things she did to get to where she is today" he said while writing, not taking his eyes off the paper. EASY I thought to myself I know practically everything about this girl so I just wrote and wrote and wrote every little detail I knew about this girl. Was it in her speech? Probably not but still I should get a passing grade with this that's all I need to go out on the field with a passing grade. Toni was still in the room and the box to turn stuff in was right next to her. No one else was up there so I decided to shoot my shot there.
