This will be story where the reader will be a monster cause I can't find any like this, there might be some out there, if there is I never found them.

Backstory: Back when you were a young pup in school you were very close friends with Asgore and Toriel.
You were one of the few who could actually match Asgore in a fight and would often defend the weaker kids from Bullies.
You did get injured in some fights though and it was Toriel who was stuck with patching you up.
As time went on, you grew to develop feelings for Toriel and while you were saddened that she and Asgore got together, you felt you should be happy for the two.
You grew up as essentially the responsible one of your dog family, since your family of dogs were easily distracted, smoked dog biscuits and couldn't really do their jobs properly you ended up as Captain of the royal Guard with Undyne being vice-captain.
You were also given the duty of being Toriel's body guard, which was both good and bad for you.
It was good because you got to spend more time with her, it was bad because you loved her and she was with someone else at the time.
After Asriel died and Toriel secluded herself in the ruins, like Sans you'd often visit her and have chats at the door.
One day she asked if you could do her favor which you accepted.
Like she did with Sans, she asked if you could protect the human children that wandered into the underground.
You were honestly torn at first, the only way for the monsters to be free was to take 7 souls from humans, but your love and loyalty towards Toriel made it hard to say no.
In the end you agreed and like Sans you'd do your best to protect any human that ended up coming through, unlike Sans however you take a more active role.
Even if it means sometimes you'll have to fight a fellow monster.
Personality: Despite your menacing appearance and role as the Royal Guard Captain you are one of the most kind-hearted monsters within the Underground.
