Yup, you and your wife heard it. Wife? Indeed! You and Kanae got married! Now you and she have a biological daughter. ( It's impossible to have a child with couples sharing the same sex! ... Donor Pregnancy D: ... Or adoption D: ... Though here: you used donor pregnancy and all. )

Kanae still didn't retire as being the Flower Hashira. She remained to be one, well, you're the one who retired as the [Element] Hashira. Why? Who on earth will take care of your daughter?

No, it won't be Shinobu nor any of her staff. Your daughter can be quite a mischievous one even if she's still a baby. ( Apparently, Donor almost shared the same personality with Kanae. But... The Mischievous personality is where the word almost came. )

Seems logical, right? Good call! Now... "Kanae... It's your turn..." You mumbled groaning, in another way your wife didn't wake up. She is in deep slumber, must've been a tiring day. What time is it even? 1 am...

You sighed and stood up. You left the room as you went straight to your daughter's. You opened the shoji to see her whimpering, as Spirit who was "guarding" her also fell asleep.

You chuckled and scooped your daughter. "My sweet Yui... What terrible nightmare went to you? You're only a few weeks old and... You're too noisy for that stage of yours. You're supposed to be only sleeping..." You mumbled as you went outside of her room, while you had the intention to go to you and Kanae's room.

When you entered the bedroom, you still saw your wife sleeping. Oh, she looks so worn out. You chuckled and sat down on the bed, rocking your baby.

Humming a small lullaby. It soothed your daughter out as she gazes at you with her watery eyes. "Oh? You have my eyes to the sensitivity too, my beloved." You laughed a bit.

"Do you need help? Your hands must've been exhausted from all the rocking." You heard a groaning voice from behind when you felt two arms wrap around your waist.

You shivered at first from a sudden embrace, but you enjoyed it. "Not exactly..." You mumbled, "why not let Kanae help you?" Kanae sits down and tucks some of her hair behind her ear.

"... A-all right..." Well? It's hard to say no to your lovely wife. From what you're not expecting, Kanae scoops you up instead. "H-hey?! What are you doing?!" You said to Kanae.

Wherein she carried you in a bridal form as she sits down on the bed cooing gently while rocking you too. "Now I can send you and our little marshmallow to sleep." Kanae kisses your forehead.

"Idiot. I can do it by myself you know." You coldly answer. "One of my best reasons why I love you so much!" Kanae shouts a bit, almost waking up your daughter. "Lower your voice down... Yui hates being woken up." You shush your wife.

"Oh, how I am embarrassed..." Kanae whispers, leaning toward her daughter. "What a drama queen. She fell asleep. She might've wanted attention from her Momma Y/n." Kanae teased you as she kissed your cheek softly.

Your face only blushed at Kanae's words and kiss. "However... Yui... She's adorable and tiny..." Kanae adores her daughter very much, especially since she had your eyes and half of your appearances. "You'll mostly find that most infants are tiny, Kanae." You answered.
