Y/n Pov:

I bent down and petted the black and white dog who was sniffing me. "Your dog is so cute!" I say to the person in the distance. They still aren't close enough for me to tell if I know them. "Thanks, her name is Nellie" The person calls back. They sounded oddly familiar but I couldn't quite wrap my finger around it yet. I turned back down to Nellie and continued to pet her. "Sorry, I never walk her on a leash around here because there's never really any people at this time" He says. I look up to see the guy I sit next to in form. "It's alright!" I reply with a smile. "Your Y/n, right?"He asked politely. "Yeah that's me" I laugh. I just now noticed he actually has really pretty brown eyes. "So, How'd you find this place?" Nick says clearly trying to keep the conversation going. "I saw it this morning when I was walking to Truham" I shrugged.  "Oh, could I borrow your phone for a sec?" He asked suspiciously. "Yours is in your pocket , why would you need mine?" I replied a bit more harshly than I had intended. "Please" Nick begged. "Fine" I said unlocking my phone and handing it to him. After he gave it back I checked to see what he had wanted. "All you did was follow yourself on Insta?" I asked. "Yes, yes I did" He smiled proudly. "Wow, smooth Mr. Nelson" I said sarcastically. "I know, Ms. L/n" He shot back. I laughed before quickly pulling my phone out and taking a photo of the two of us laughing and Nellie in the background. "Hey! I wasn't ready" Nick fake pouted. "Too bad, I look good so I'm keeping the photo" I chuckled. "Wow, I see how it is" He replies before continuing, "What time is it?" " It's 6" I answered. "Oh shot, I gotta go but we'll talk later, bye Ms. L/n" He says quickly before turning around with Nellie. "Bye Mr. Nelson!" I giggled turning back towards the way I had come.  On the way back I looked at the photo I had taken and set it as my lock screen. I did actually really like the photo which is rare for me because I usually hate photos with my face in it. "Hi Ciara!" I yelled opening the front door, Ciara's car was parked in the driveway signaling that she had come home already. "Hey!" yelled back with a happy tone. "Where were you?" She asked. "I went for a walk at a park I saw on my way to school this morning" I replied happily. "I have a question" Ciara stated. "Yeah, what's up Ara?" I said slightly nervous. "Do you have photo's from when we tied at that horse jumping contest?" She asked with a big smile. "I'm not sure, you can check if you want" I answered, handing her my phone. "Thanks N/n, go take a seat on the couch! We are watching a movie tonight. I give you no choice at all" Ciara demanded taking my phone as I walked towards the comfy living room.  Ciara walked into the room about five minutes later with my phone in her hand. "Here you go" She said while handing my phone back to me. "Thanks" I said. "So, who's that on your lock screen?" She questioned with a smirk. "The guy I sit next to in form" I reply. "Oh" She replied with a smirk on her face still. "What do you wanna watch?" I asked to try to change the subject. "Coraline" Ciara replied instantly. "Okay" I answered looking for it on Netflix. Once I found it I pressed play. Halfway through the third movie of the night, I noticed that Ciara had fallen asleep. I quietly turned off the TV and put a blanket over her before turning the lights off and heading upstairs. I got ready for bed even though I wasn't the slightest bit tired. I sat on my comfy bed glancing out the window at the already pitch black sky. I reached for my phone and checked the time. 9:09 PM. It wasn't that late yet. I just scrolled aimlessly through my Instagram feed. After about two hours of uselessly going through social media, I put my phone down. I turned to face my window and laid down, letting my eyes close and my body drift off to sleep. "Wake up!" I heard Ciara yell, waking me up from a deep sleep. "I'm up, I'm up" I said tiredly looking at the time. 5:00 AM. I didn't brother getting dressed because I still had about two hours before I had to leave for school. "Why'd you wake me up so early" I yawned as I started to walk down the stairs. "Just to annoy my little sister" Ciara giggled. "Mhm" I replied rubbing my eyes. "I made you some waffles" Ciara said kindly, a bit too kindly. "What do you want?" I questioned. "Nothing, I just have news" Ciara answered shyly. "Are you alright with me leaving for a month?" Ciara asked, avoiding any eye contact with me. "Why?" I said. "I have a couple comps in Canada, I just wanted to check with you! I don't have to go" She ranted. "No, no it's okay! You should go, when are you leaving?" I asked with a smile. I was clearly happy for her. "While you're at school" Ciara said. "That explains waking me up early" I replied. She just chuckled. After I ate and got ready for the day it was almost time for me to leave. I ran down the stairs and hugged Ciara. "Bye! Call me ever single day" I demanded. "Will do! Bye, love you" Ciara replied. "Love you more" I said before walking out the door.
