Thunderstorms and Midnight queues:

}Luke just wants Ashton back, but he can't.~

Story:

The rain fell down in heavy droplets, making the fabric of his shirt cling tightly around him.

He looked up at the dark sky pouring out drops of rain, a gigantic streak of lightning shooting across the sky, illuminating everything around him for a few seconds.

And in those few seconds, he saw something flash before his eyes

"Luke! What are you doing?" A voice shouted from behind him

He turned around to face Ashton, making his lips quirk up into a smile

"Why are you smiling?" Luke shook his head and stared down at the scene below him

The bug-sized people below, doing about in their lives, the cars whizzing by, the view of the skyline and the unmistakable sound of the city

"Come on," Luke patted the spot next to him

"Uh...No, no way," Ashton slowly backed a bit, looking like he was about to run back down when Luke stood up, walked over to Ashton and tugged on his wrist

"Come on, Ash! It's not scary, I promise" Luke led him to where he was sitting a few moments ago

"I'm not sure," Ashton looked at the spot hesitantly

"Do you trust me?" Luke asked him, holding out his palm

Ashton's eyes softened and he took Luke's hand

"Yeah," He breathed out softly

"Then, trust me," Luke pulled him down slowly and Ashton finally seated next to him

"It's beautiful," Ashton spoke slowly, gazing up at the sky

"You're beautiful," Luke blurted out before covering his mouth, he hadn't meant to say that out loud, but he did and now there's a blush covering his cheeks and Ashton's

"Thanks," Ashton smiled softly at him before kissing his cheek and snuggling into Luke, sighing at the warmth

"I love you, you know," Luke mumbled into Ashton's hair'

He could feel Ashton's smile into his neck as he mumbled out

"I love you more," Ashton spoke; his lips dragging across Luke's neck, making him shiver but smile nonetheless

At that moment, he felt on top of the world with his world in his arms

He was brought back to the present as he choked on a sob, the hard pounding of the rain making it more difficult to breathe

He glanced at the tombstone before him
