our story begins in august of 1793 at one of duchess lilith's seasonal balls.
"francesca! Would you please hurry up! the carriage is waiting." anthvonnie yelled.
The larynson's were one of the most known families. Everyone knew them. although the eldest anthvonnie only wants to be known by one person, princess elissabeth loverent.
"do we really think this is a good idea, brother? with the queens behea-" florance, the second oldest of the larynson kids and the youngest son was cut off by his older brother.
"duchess lilith wants the queen to be beheaded florance! that's the whole reason for this ball."
anthvonnie was not wrong, well in this aspect a little bit. duchess lilith was a total sweetheart, her husband on the other hand duke malorne... let's just say they don't call him duke malorne the unruly for no reason.
"do you truly think you have a chance with the princess?" the youngest of the larynson kids, francesca said. anthvonnie chuckled before replying "i truly have the best chance."
a scream was heard from the backyard causing anthvonnie and florance to immediately get up and run to the noise. which is when they saw one arista starlez.
"i'm so sorry if i startled you! missy ran and i tried running after her into the woods but i cut my leg on a thorn." arista replied, trying to hold in tears that immediately came out as the boys rushed to her side.
"i'll help her. florance you go find missy." anthvonnie said before assisting arista into a chair. "you're lucky we're here. if it was just anastasia or francesca they wouldn't know how to help you."
florance walked past the two with missy in his arms. he set missy on a chair with anastasia inside before he grabbed bandages.
"i did not mean to startle you." anthvonnie chuckled at arista saying that once again. "arista. you do not need to worry. i am glad i can help you and you see now even missy is getting help." he smiled at her as florance came back outside with bandages.
anthvonnie wrapped the bandage around her leg trying his best to not put arista in anymore pain than she was. once he was done florance immediately hugged her.
anthvonnie basically watched arista as she grew up. anthvonnie is 2 years older than the 19 year old but arista was best friends with florance since they were young. although not to miss starlez' acceptance. arista's father passed when she was young. arista only had one sibling. a sister. meaning as the eldest arista had to make a name for her family and produce an heir to the starlez name. however arista's mother knew florance could never be the husband arista needed for this.
"i believe it's best if you two let arista go back home now?" anastasia, the oldest of the larynson daughters and the 3rd oldest overall said as she sat missy on arista's lap
arista sighed before getting up. anthvonnie immediately knew she was in pain, but he knew she will not take any help and will never admit when she is in pain.
"arista please stay. i'm sure francesca would be delighted to have a friendly face on the carriage ride to the ball." anthvonnie smiled before taking missy out of arista's arms and holding the small dog himself. "i'm sure father would not mind watching over missy for a little while."
arista thought for a moment before nodding slightly. "if it is okay with all larynson's it is okay with me."
florance immediately got up and ran to ask their father if it was okay for him to watch missy while arista was at the ball with the kids and their mother.
mr larynson obviously said yes as he was quite fond of arista being around his kids and even fonder of having missy with him.
it was settled, arista would go to the ball with the larynson's. although arista only decided to go since anthvonnie invited her and for some reason, for as long as she can remember.
arista could never say no to anthvonnie.
