"Tatum!" Hayze called impatiently from downstairs. Ashton had been blowing up my phone with text the the few days, I only replied to tell him to stop every now and again because the text were flirty and sometimes vulgar. I quickly text him to stop and went downstairs.
"There you are, don't keep me waiting. When I call you, you come right away" Hayze sighed upset.
"I'm sorry" I replied looking at my feet, avoiding his eyes. Hayze like always assumed something was up.
"What were you doing up there?" he asked suspiciously lifting my chin so our eyes met.
"Nothing" I bit my lip nervously. Hayze squinted at me, I knew he didn't believe me. That is when he roughly grabbed my arm and started dragged me up the stairs. Hayze had a bad temper that was easily set off. He growled as he muttered under his breath. I whimpered as his grasped seemed to tighten every time I stumbled.
"What were you doing up here Tatum? Don't say nothing" he asked again expecting an answer
"Just replying to a text" I said quickly.
"Whose text?" he asked narrowing his eyes at me as we finally reached the top of the stairs.
"It's not important" I said wanting to take back my words immediately after I said them. Hayze yanked me into the room and snatched my phone off the charger. He grasp tighter onto me as he read, then he grunted and thew my phone, shattering it against a wall.
"How long has this been going on?" Hayze asked furiously, he finally let go of me. Hayze paced back and forth waiting for my answer.
"Months" I practically whispered finally. I watched as he walked over and punched a hole in the wall he had just thrown my phone at. Hayze mumbled under his breath as he walked passed me and out of the room. I looked down at my arm and saw that a bruise the size and shape started to form on my upper arm.
"You must have enjoyed his text if you kept them a secret for so long, did you reply and then delete it so, I wouldn't find out you were flirting with him too" he growled without turning around when I finally came downstair after giving him some space.
"No Hayze I promise I didn't like nor reply flirtatiously to the text, but I saw no point in telling you because I knew it would just make you mad and it's not like he's physically doing anything"
"That's no excuse, you were keeping things from me which doesn't exactly put my mind at ease" without warning Hayze was in my face holding me tightly by the arm.
"I know and I just hate to see you all worked up like this, I'm sorry Hayze" I said in my most soothing voice hoping he would calm down. Hayze was still mad and Ashton was defiantly going to pay for this. I laid my hand against his cheek and looked at him sweetly until he let go stepped back from me and walked out the door. I always Contemplated leaving Hayze when he left the house, but there was no point because I know Hayze will come after me.
I numbly sat on the couch after Hayze left and when he came back I jumped when he slammed the door closed behind him when he came in. He said nothing as he walked by me to the kitchen. I listened as the water turned on. Ten minutes had passed and the water was still running and Hayze hadn't come out so I walked to the kitchen to see what he was doing.
"Hayze" I said in almost a whisper as I approached the kitchen. Hayze didn't even look up when I walked in. He was washing something off, I walked closer and shrieked jumping backwards when I saw a knife in his one hand and the red liquid ran into the drain off the knife and his hands.
"I had to do it Tatum, I'm sorry" he said emotionless turning to me after dropping the knife in the sink and shutting the water off.
"Do what Hayze?" I asked honestly not really wanting to know the answer. Hayze then threw himself at me and I tried to get away, but was trapped against the island.
