Quick story.

"Len, if you get off that couch one more time, you won't like the consequences that follow." Fukase said from the kitchen. He spoke loud enough to were Len could hear him.

Len rolled his eyes and stuck his tongue out at Fukase.

"I can sense you sticking your tongue out at me. Better put that tongue back, in your mouth mister."

Len immediately slid his tongue back in his mouth. How did Fukase know?

Fukase came back in the living room with a water bottle from the fridge. Len placed the bottle on his own head, it felt amazing to put something cold on his hot skin. He had been running a fever all day.

"I'll be back with some medicine.  Stay on the couch and don't even think about putting a single  toe off this couch."

With that Fukase left to go upstairs. The medicine cabinet was sure to have something to help Len.

Len wanted to get off the couch, he had been laying in the same spot the entire day. The only time Fukase had allowed him to leave was to go to the bathroom.
Len pushed the covers off his body. He turned his body and placed his feet on the floor before slowly standing up. The floor beneath him slightly creaked. He instantly froze.

"Len Kagamine, I heard that floor creak. Lay back down now."

Len didn't want to, he just wanted to move around for a few minutes. Laying in bed made him feel like his freedom was taken away.  He took a few steps away from the couch.

Suddenly,  a wave of heat covered his body from head to toe. There was a slight ringing in his ear before everything went black.

THUD

"What was that noise?!" Fukase yelled.

Len didn't answer.

"Len?"

No response.

Fukase ran out of the bathroom and down stairs to the living room.
He spotted Len on the floor.

"LEN!!"

Fukase ran to Len and started shaking him and patting his cheek. Anything to wake him up.

"Baby wake up please!"

Len's eyes slowly fluttered open. He looked unfocused.

"Hang on! I'm calling the ambulance!"

Len slowly shook his head and let out a very soft whine. He hated hospitals. To him they were creepy and overall unpleasant.

Fukase ignored Len's protest.

"Yes, it's my boyfriend. He has been running a fever all day and he just fainted a few minutes ago. "

Fukase's voice started to fade along with his vision. Staying awake seemed impossible.

The last thing Len could hear was Fukase shouting for him to keep his eyes open. But he couldn't.

When Len woke up he wasn't happy to see he was in a hospital bed attached to equipment and in a room that smelt of plastic, metal, and hand sanitizer.
The only good thing about that room was Fukase who was sleeping in a chair by the bed. Fukase had previously dragged the chair from it's original spot to the bed where Len was, he did this any  time Len was at the hospital to be closer to him.

Fukase's eyes slowly opened. Once he saw Len was up he hopped off his chair. He grabbed Len's hands ans kissed them both.

"I'm so happy you're okay. You scared me to death."
