Hi buns!

After thinking for a while I felt like I should at least update one chapter as my apology since I've been gone since forever... I feel a bit encouraged (well.. yeah suddenly) so here's the next chapter....

AUTHOR'S POV (cuz why not? XD)

The rays of morning sun shines through the window causing the older boy to slowly flutter his eyes open. Sunlight streams golden through the window in the announcement of the risen sun.

  The room was filled with the calming scent of vanilla and cinnamon which was very familiar to the latter.

  He pulled the younger male he was holding more closer, sniffing the addictive scent of the boy which never fails to soothe him.

He took a while to admire his best friend's porcelain milky skin, cute button nose, parted cherry lips and the way his hands curled up into a cute little fist near his chest.

Oh how much he'd love to mark him and protect the innocent boy from this cruel world.
      But As much as he'd loved to cuddle the younger for the rest of the day, he knew they had a pretty busy schedule for the day.

  He kissed the crown of the raven- haired boy's head and whispered him to wake up as he heads towards the washroom to take a shower.

Being the light sleeper he is, New opened his eyes, slowly rubbing it trying to adjust to the light he is being exposed to.

"Te wwere m I? Wai m ai here?" He asked still sleepy.

   His haziness started to fade away and he remembers all the events happened the day before. He smiled to himself thanking the whole universe for giving him such a caring and loving best friend.

"Well seems like you remember now. I'm gonna take a quick shower k?" Tay said as he bites his lips, trying hard to suppress his smile. ( Which he obviously failed to do- miserably)

"Ok" New mumbled and made his way down towards the washroom.

(A/n: yeah they have two washrooms.. well if they don't have enough time, they can't take a shower together right? *Smirks* Anyways-)

After the shower, New was currently humming to his favorite song as he makes pancakes for both of them. Not forgetting to yet again feel elated to have his adorable best friend by his side whenever he needs him.

Well little did he knew that his only best friend wants to ruin their friendship and start something even more beautiful ;)

He trailed out of his thought and made his way towards Tay's room as he was done with the cooking. ( Tbh at this point, it's basically their shared room lol)

"Te...Breakfast is ready! Let's go" New said as he opened the door only to be greeted by the sight of his best friend's shirtless back and he was trying to fix the handle of the cupboard he just broke?

Gosh! What am I gonna do with this literal definition of destruction. New thought.

(Lol the god of destruction and the crush of bad luck)

He burst into laughter at Tay's sillyness receiving a death-glare from Tay which looked far from scary. In fact, Tay looked like a kid who was sad cuz someone stole his candy from him.

"Stop laughing hin! I can't fix it" Te whined looking a lil sad and guilty.
"It's alright Te! We can get it fixed later yeah? Besides, gloomy Te is not my favorite Te...I like the flashlight whose smile can literally make people blind." New went towards Tay cupping his face as he caressed his face making Tay giggle.

Soon his gaze was replaced with concern. He looked at the round head lovingly as he spoke "New....Are you alright? Y-yesterday you were not in your best. You can cancel the works today if you want. I can manage everything. You really need to res-"

"I'm totally fine. See? Don't I look happy? You made me realize that she isn't worth my tears. If she never cared for my feelings then why should I cry over her. I shouldn't be that weak to ruin my life over someone who's not worth it. I have you in my life and I really don't need anyone else that ain't you! I don't know why I even dated her."

This was it! The thing Tay ever wanted to hear. The only thing that made all his pain go away. This is what made him feel wanted. He couldn't explain how happy these words made him feel. His heart was pounding like crazy. Soon enough he felt something wet in his cheeks. That's only when he realized that he was crying...
 
New engulfed him into a tight bear-hug and rubbed soothing circles on his back.

He didn't knew why seeing Tay made his heart ache, why Tay always made him feel funny like no one ever did, why he was this soft for the latter, why he couldn't even bear the thought of ever losing him but one thing he knew for sure was that he loves his best friend more than anything else in this world. He'd do anything just to be close to him and see that smile in his face.

He knew he needed Tay in his life but what he didn't knew was this is the beginning to everything....

Hey! How was this chapter buns? I hope y'all liked it. Ik this is a lot of fluff and I'm not sure if y'all like fluff or angst more...what I know is I'm gonna continue this book now. So I hope it at least gives a smile to you all..
