Chapter 13 - Gloria

Nik's POV

I watched as Beth drifted to sleep and I smiled as I reached over and gently pulled the phone out of her hand, I placed the phone back into
my pocket and smiled as she moaned as she was woken a little.

I gently pulled her towards me smiling as she moaned at me again, "shh love" i said.

I noticed that Stefan was staring at me as I was insane for moving her, I gently pulled her down so she was laying down, with her head on
my lap and I shrugged my coat off and pulled it over her as she was the only vampire to feel the cold.

Stefan coughed making me look at him through the mirror, "why move her" he asked.

I looked at him and frowned, "because she would have been uncomfortable, I don't need my wife anymore pissed off than she is" i
explained.

He nodded as i turned to him, "it's going to be a long car ride and to be honest I don't want you speaking, so sleep or something" i snapped.

He shook his head at me as I ran my hand through her hair and smiled as she cuddled further into me.

I thought back to our earlier conversation and thought about the fact that my bite didn't affect her at all for some reason and wondered if it
would be all werewolf bites or just mine.

I sighed as I had 101 questions running through my head about this but the most needed answer was would they always be like this for her
or would she become ill the more she got bit.

I knew we needed answers but I wasn't sure who to trust with this as this could be something that would be used against us if someone like
Stefan, Damon or even Katerina got a hold of it.

Elizabeth's POV

I groaned as I hit my head on something firm and frowned as I opened my eyes to see it was Nik, "good morning" he said grinning at me.

I frowned as he smiled, "i drove all night love and well you looked uncomfortable curled up as i gently moved you to lay on me" he
explained.

I grinned as I sat up and noticed that we were still in the car and moaned as I moved so I sat up, I stretched my legs out in front of me and
moaned as being curled up didn't do me any good.

I turned around to see Stefan fast asleep in the back all scrunched up which did not look comfortable for him.

I looked over to my husband and smiled, "are we near?" I asked.

He smiled, "about half an hour out love" he said.

I nodded as I turned around again and sighed as this side of my brother made me wish that he wasn't a vampire.

"You know he looks so human when he is asleep," I said.

He smirked as I grinned, "you wouldn't think he had a horrible bone in him like this would you" i said.

Nik smiled, "it's when he wakes and talks" he said.

I snorted as he smirked, "it just ruins it all" he said.

I snorted as he was right...

Stefan's POV

I woke to my sister and Klaus talking and sighed as I just wanted this nightmare to be over, being on a road trip with the two baddest
hybrids was not and is not my idea of fun.

I kept my eyes closed as I heard my sister talking to Klaus and wondered if now I would be able to get some answers to the questions I had.

I heard as Lizzie laughed, "you know when he is like this, i always think i can make it better" she said.
