Murder mystery (reader as protag)

3. Awesome. Just Awesome.

A.N: I'm gonna start writing in 3rd person now. It's a bit easier for me.

"What...? Huh? Murder?"  The e/c person questioned.

Carly rolls her eyes, not seeming to believe all this.

"They probably mean like an in-game murder. Like you're basically out. No way they would ACTUALLY kill someone."

Aiden chuckles before talking.
"It would be fun if they did, though."

A few people turn to look at him, before Liam speaks up.

"Yep. Now I get why we 'shouldn't get along with him', alright?" He gives finger guns to Zack.

Zack nods.

"He's not someone you want to hang around with."

Aiden tilts his head "Awww, so rude!!"

The blonde vampire sighs.

"Is there like- police here or something?!!" Y/N asks.

"No, haha!! You aren't even in your original dimension!! Police do not exist here."

"That's nice." Y/N responds sarcastically.

I just decided to go to the dinner table, picking up a laptop.

"Ah, I forgot to mention some important rules.

1. No showing your laptop to others!!

2. No killing anyone by yourself at all!! You just choose who to kill. I will do the killing. How considerate of me, right?"

Carly frowns.

"Boo."

Alair turns to her, clearly worried on what she said. "What do you mean...boo?"

"Who said 'Boo?'" She tilts her head. Was she serious?

Alair looks around. No one else seemed to notice, but he will still keep an eye out for the girl. He clears his throat before speaking up again. "Well, dear host bud pal friend, where shall we sleep?" He chuckles nervously.

"Ah, that. Yeah, you will be divided into dorms. Not a problem, is it?"

"Well, that depends. Who are each of us staying with?"  Y/N asks.

"Oh, of course!! Let me read the list...

Dorm 1: Joy, Jean, Alair and Sam."

Joy seems very happy, slowly approaching Sam, trying to not have her notice. She does, but simply smiles and lets Joy be close.

"Dorm 2: Tess, Dash, River and Zack."

Y/n seems relieved to hear that Zack wasn't assigned with...his 'best friend'.

"Dorm 3: Carly, Lacy, Y/N and Nathan."

"I change my mind...this is way worse." The person thinks to themselves.
Carly stares daggers at Nathan. Who doesn't seem to really care.
Lacy is just...there.

"And the final dorm, with 5 people, is shared by Aiden, Hannah, Henry, Liam and Alina!!"

Liam looks at the tall vampire nervously. "Hey there, bud!"

Aiden gives a sweet smile. "What was that about 'not getting along with me' I heard...?"

The man gulps before the already annoyed y/n steps in.
"Woah, there...best we don't fight right now. Could get us in trouble...

Carly sighs. "Whatever. C'mon, human. We share a dorm now, unfortunately."

"That little..."

Nathan bonks Carly in the head.

"OW! What was that fo-"
Bonk

"Will you sto-"
Bonk

"STOP THIS AT ONC-"
Bonk bonk

Carly finally stops talking, and the man turns back to the h/c person, giving a small, reassuring nod.

They smile at him, and he gives a thumbs up.
Lacy doesn't know what's happening and gives a confused thumbs up as well.

At the dorm...

"And that's why raisins are better than chocolate chips." Carly had finished making her argument, and Lacy shook her head in disappointment.

Nathan just stares at his laptop. "There's a groupchat here..."

Carly looks at her own computer. "Woah! True!"

"I haven't checked my laptop..."  Y/n thought.

Role - Bystander

They didn't show any reaction. Even if it's a common role, it's best not to reveal anything.

Y/n starts typing. "CarlyIsA| _"

They pause, and then press backspace.

"I think my name will suffice."

"Y/N"

Y/N looks at Nathan from their side of the room. "I didn't know we had the fuckin' grammar police here..."

Nathan looks at them with their signature calm stare. "Cry about it."

"This is cool and all...but...was the host serious about people dying? Well. Most probably, yes. Because if this is some sort of gameshow, I'm pretty sure I did NOT sign up for this so I could maybe sue...Uhhh so either I'm in a death game or I'm gonna get money. Of course, I prefer the latter, but I don't think a gameshow would risk so much. I think the only thing I have left to do is hold out hope for this just being some kind of weird prank. Haha...why am I laughing in my thoughts?"

The person shakes their head. "Wonder what's gonna happen."
