Yeah this is weirdly specific butttt
This was an idea I thought was adorable so I'd like to see thoughts on this please :3
There might be some light mentions of existentialism maybee? So I suppose just be wary that some mentions and questions of sentience may show up

Glamrock Freddy found himself confused and afraid for the first time. Were they really throwing him out? He was in low power mode and couldn't move or do anything, except watch as he was left in the alley. He felt weak and hopeless, they didn't need him anymore...? Even then, didn't they know he was more than just metal at this point? Or did the higher-ups just not care that much?
It was hard to think about as Freddy felt himself starting to fade into an unconscious of sorts.-----
A strong discomforting feeling of being moved woke him from his shut down. His vision crept in slowly, a darkness still around him. Was he finally being sent to the dump?
He felt his weight slam into an enclosed surface, a sound of a soft curse in response. He felt straps pulled over different parts of him, fastening him into place.
Yep, he was definitely being taken somewhere.A few moments later and he felt movement happening in the vehicle he was in, eventually sending him back into his unconsciousness.
---
"...l..ts...g...ou....of here."
"..on...ig guy,"
"..ey..you on? There's lights in your eyes.."
Freddy found himself coming back, a voice fading into his consciousness.
His vision slowly fading in, blurry light filtering into his eyes. He tried to adjust, looking around."Oh good, you are working. Just relax a little longer until you can move, okay?"
Freddy processed the words a little slower than usual, but understood. He continued to slowly work himself into more consciousness. He moved his fingers slowly, moving to his hands until he could lift his arms, feeling another pair of hands carefully helping him.
Soon enough, his vision cleared up, an error message flooding his vision. Low power mode, of course. But once it cleared, he finally saw you. You were sitting on the platform with him, probably around average sized for a person. But to him of course, you hardly met his shoulder most likely.
If his artificial grin could get any wider, he'd give a warm smile to you."Can you get up? Or do you need to charge? I could probably hook you up some how." You said.
'Ah' He thought. You weren't a clueless random who'd picked him up, or was planning to throw him to the dump. You were clearly planning on working on him. Maybe even trying to bring him to his former glory.
After about half an hour, he was able to sit up properly. You were currently settled in his lap, checking his voice box through his throat. You hadn't allowed him to speak yet until you got a good look at it and his internal speakers. Making sure he wouldn't damage anything inside.
"It seems to be fine, not much wear or anything." You'd commented. "How about you try saying something now?""H-Hello...thank you for helping me," He sounded.
You watched in slight awe as you did with most robotics. But he was definitely an interesting case. Of course, noticing him thinking and processing what he wanted to say wasn't that strange to you actually. But it was still so cool to see.
Then you realized you were spacing a little.
"Oh yeah- of course!" You smiled, sitting back from him. "Whenever you're ready to try getting up, we can head into my house- if you're alright with me taking you in that is-" You said.
You quickly realized that you practically asked a robot what they thought about something. Yes, a lot of recent AI had near full sentience, but it was still a bit to wrap your head around. Mechanic or not.
