Chapter 12

Childe's POV.

Everything is just so easy these days. Technology is just so easy to hack into. You know, because I feel so victorious, I'll ask Zhongli out.

Not on a date. No. Just on an outing so he can take a break from his kids.

Yeah, that should work.

Childe pulled out his phone and went onto Zhongli's contact. He hit call, and the phone began to buzz.

Zhongli : Hey, Childe. Isn't it like 10 AM right now?

He sounded like he had just woken up, which he probably had done.

Childe : Late night?

Zhongli : Definitely.

Childe : I was wondering, do you wanna go out with me? Not as in a date, just so you can relax and have some time away from your kids.

Zhongli : Sure, that'd be great, actually. Meet at the Coffee Shop in 15 minutes?

Childe : Yep! See ya then!

Childe flipped his phone shut and smiled widely.

A day, alone with Zhongli. OH MY GOD! WOOHOO!

Childe was already dressed, so he just headed there straight away. He brought a Latte from the cashier, and went to stand outside the Shop.
It was just a few minutes until Zhongli arrived, dressed in a trench coat, with a turtle-neck jumper in the color of coffee underneath. He had just a plain pair of black trousers on as well.

In Childe's eyes, he looked absolutely stunning.

Childe : Wow... You look....

Childe stopped for a moment. Zhongli could quite obviously see Childe was flustered.

Zhongli : Save it for later.

Zhongli smiled and took Childe's hand. They started to walk, and Childe was red all over. He had no clue where he was even going.

Childe : Zhongli, where are we even going?

Zhongli : My favorite place ever! Plus, it's romantic.

Zhongli looked back at Childe and smiled. Childe's mouth was open a little. He gave up trying to hide it, and smiled back. His face was red, since Zhongli was flustering him so much.

Childe : Are we there yet?

Zhongli had his hand in front of Childe's eyes, while holding onto Childe's hand at the same time.

Zhongli : Not yet...

After about 3 minutes, Zhongli stopped.

Zhongli : Here.

He lifted his hand, so Childe could see a giant cherry blossom in front of him. He gasped. He knew about the 'myth' about the cherry trees. If you tell someone you love them under one, they'll love you back. Childe looked at Zhongli.

Childe : This is the place?
Childe sounded amazed, it was nothing like he's seen before. It was so different and perfect.

Zhongli : Yep. It's beautiful, isn't it?

Childe simply nodded. Zhongli still held his hand, but his grip was tighter than before. Childe really didn't know what to do. He was in a beautiful place with an even more beautiful person.

Zhongli stood in front of him, smiling. He moved closer a little, his face inches away. Childe was a little slow at realizing what was happening, he didn't even notice how close Zhongli was.

The world went oblivious, everything was blurred, except for him. Their lips brushed each other. Childe's eyes were wide open with shock. All he could do was kiss him back.

They parted for a moment, and Zhongli brushed Childe's hair out of his face. He smiled, and kissed him again.

This time it was a French Kiss, Zhongli kissed Childe in a very passionate way as their tongues touched one another. Childe forgot to breathe so when they stopped he went to gasp for air.
Childe : ..Haah!.. Zhongli, no more please..
Zhongli : Awe, look who is tired now. Are you sure you want to stop now?
Childe : I can't say that I didn't enjoy it but it is very.. Tiring..?
Zhongli smirks at Childe as he pulls him in for another kiss. They continue for a few minutes as Childe keeps complaining, Zhongli doesn't plan to hold back on Childe since he wanted to express his feelings towards Childe.
Childe : Do you want to be.. With me, Zhongli? As in romantic Partners.
Zhongli : I would certainly love to, "My Love".
Childe : Please stop kissing me for now though, I think my lips are getting sore..
Zhongli : Alright then, then I will again in an hour.
As Childe and Zhongli had their Romantic Scene under the Cherry Blossom Tree, a Hero came approaching and decided to question them about something.
X-D : Excuse me, we are looking for an, uhh, Ajax.. Nevermind. I'm sorry to interrupt you, Childe and Dad..
X-D coughs.
X-D : But Dad, why were you making out with Childe under the Cherry Blossom Tree just now?
X-D crosses Childes' Name off from his list of suspects.
Zhongli : Some things are meant to stay Private, my Child.
Childe is hiding behind Zhonglis' shoulder while X-D is watching them with a very confused look on his face.
Childe : Let's.. Go?
Zhongli : Sure.
Zhongli and Childe both walked off while holding hands, they both looked very happily in each other's eyes. Being in a dream world of their own.
