Gwaine was walking in the woods at night as he needed to have a break from the world for a second when he heard a voice. The voice was speaking some foriegn that seemed familiar but also not so at the same time. He decided to sneak up on this sound and see what was going on. What he was expecting was probably a fair maiden mumbling to herself while maybe washing clothes or camping in the woods. What he didn't expect was the prince of Camelot holding a hurt baby deer in his arms. As Arthur spoke, the injuries on the doe seemed to disappear. Gwaine was mesmerized, not only did the prince of a magic hating kingdom heal without the use of potions but he has magic himself. This was BIG news.

Gwaine the decided to confront him. "Hey, Arthur" he said to the prince who was wearing a blue cloak. Arthur looked behind him and was startled, as the doe, now healed, ran away. He quickly pulled his hood up and stood up. Before he could run away Gwaine grabbed his arm and turned him around, Arthur's hair just peeking out. "Don't run please, I am not going to turn you in. You can trust me, I just want answers." Gwaine comforted. Arthur let out a shaky breathe before slowly raising his arm to pull his hood back. "Ok." He finally said. "I trust you, but only for this one situation, and if you do anything to hurt me I am not afraid to give you punishments when you train tomorrow." Gwaine smirked as it had shown how the prince must have gone back to his original state instead of looking like a scared cat. "What do you want to know?" Arthur continued.
"Okay, three things. One. What did you just do to the doe?" Gwaine asked.
"I healed it as the animal was wrongfully hurt by a pack of wolves." Arthur replied with a straight face and a direct voice, like he was in one of his meetings.
"Okay, two, how did you do it?"
" Well, I was born with this power, that I can use for many different purposes. I discovered it at a young age and was lucky that I hid it for so long, thanks to Giaus and his dragonlord friend. Balinor I think his name was. "
"Okay, cool. Last question, why hide it from the Knights?"
"I can't predict how people would react to this, they might tell on me to my father, send me to the prye to burn."
"But your father wouldn't do that to you right?" Gwaine asked. Arthur responded by looking down a deep sadness in his eyes. Gwaine was mortified his own son? Really?! "Well, now that is over and done with can I propose something to you?" Gwaine asked.
"What?!" Arthur said a hint of annoyance in his voice.

"Well, you can be my personal healer and such and I'll just tell the Knights it was a female healer." Arthur looked at him pissed off and just said. "I heal you guys anyways just without your knowing, do you think injuries disappear through the night?!"
"Yeah well, I'll be aware the rest of the time from now on." Gwaine said with a pleading look in his eyes.
"Fine."Arthur sighed. "But I am not responsible if I kill you or put you to sleep with the other spells as this is a full package." Gwaine gulped at the threat."Okay"
"Now that's all sorted." Arthur began no longer scared at all. "I suggest we go back to Camelot then. And anyways, why are you out so late?"
"I just needed a breather." Gwaine replied quickly. Arthur responded with a unbelieving hmm. While in Gwaine's mind he was thinking of the stuff he could get Arthur to do for him.
