doyoung was shocked. he felt hurt. betrayed.
kim doyoung was currently laying down in lee taeyong's bed. he wanted to cry but he just couldn't. did he have a reason to? yes. but he couldn't bring himself to. he should've seen this coming. he should have.
his girlfriend, ha sooyoung, texted him at 7:21 in the morning, three days after the party him and his friends hosted, asking to break up. breaking up over text? a horrible way to do it. his response? 'ok.' and he blocked her.
sooyoung had been becoming distant lately. at first he thought it was because her school works and stuff. but two days ago, she got a message to her phone from someone named byungchan. doyoung wasnt the jealous type but he felt like that message had confirmed all his suspicions. and doyoung had lost her for half of the party. seems a little bit suspicious.
"its okay to feel sad. its normal" taeyong comforted.
"why would i be sad" doyoung replied in a monotone voice. he was actually sad. but he felt like he had no reason to.
why should he be sad over a cheater?
"she was your first girlfriend in a while, i'd be sad too. even if she did cheat, you still loved her and you can't sit here and pretend that you didn't."
doyoung hated how taeyong was always right.
doyoung was still in college.
he was also a med student. but he was on his last year. he knew the byungchan guy. they had some classes together. whenever byungchan didnt understand something, doyoung would help him.
so why would he do this?
"stop beating yourself up over it. you couldn't have seen this coming. nobody could have. people are unpredictable and you can't read minds." taeyong said, laughing a bit at the end.
but why did doyoung still feel the way he did?

that message made ha sooyoung's heart hurt.
byungchan, chaewon, yoojin and sooyoung all went to the same high school. she had a crush on him. yoojin also had a crush on him. they never spoke about their crushes. in the end, yoojin was chosen and sooyoung was crushed.
when she went to chaewon, who never liked her, and told her about it, chaewon laughed in her face.
"you thought you had a chance with him?" she laughed "you're not even that pretty. don't feel too special"
but why did chaewon hate sooyoung? sooyoung herself didnt even know. she always tried so hard to remember what she did to make chaewon hate her, but she always came up empty.
the real reason? yoon sanha, chaewon's younger brother.
before the girls met sooyoung, she dated chaewon's brother. they dated for 4 months. then she cheated on him. no surprise.
chaewon didnt tell yoojin about it. why? she didn't like telling anyone anything. sooyoung didn't know that was her brother either.
then, the middle of chaewon's junior year, yoojin introduced her to a girl.

chaewon was heated. but he never let it show. she was good at keeping her emotions bottled up.
but she always took it out on other people.
she was even more upset with sooyoung now because she made byungchan and yoojin break up. she didnt like byungchan. she hated med students. but if it made yoojin happy, it made her happy. she loved yoojin too much. and when sooyoung disturbed yoojin's happiness, she was livid.
she had told yoojin not to be too trusting. especially to med students. did she listen? no. now they're both hurt.
