Pandora's p.o.v
"DAN! You're here!" I screamed excitedly as I ran into his arms, they were soft and warm and easy to fall asleep in.
"Awwh hey my little fuzzy panda!, how are you?" He asked with a hint of excitedness in his voice.
"I'm amazing now you're here! How's Phil?" I answered.
Phil hasn't woken up in 3 years, no one knows why but the police are trying to figure out why.
" he's still peachy, which is normal I think" he spoke quietly as he walked slowly towards the house, I followed him in and closed the door behind me,
"Tea?" Dan asked,
"yip sure! Make sure you add- "
Dan cut me off before I could say anything else, his face was weak. He tried to smile but every time he would I could see the deep dark pain in his beautiful chocolate brown eyes.
I felt extremely bad for him, I mean not having your best friend wake up for 3 years must be hard I can't even image how much pain he is in at the moment.
I walk past him into the kitchen and put the kettle and and wait for it to boil, I looked back at Dan and he was still standing there starring at the ground as if he saw some sort of meaning on the floor.
" Dan?" I asked,
Dan didn't look up but made a weird noise that sounded like a mmm or a huh kind of thing,
"Do you want any milk or sugar in your tea ?"
Im really trying to make conversation with him but he won't respond, I quickly make the tea and gesture for him to sit down as I place a tea cup on the table near an empty seat.
He looked up and walked over towards the tea and sits down and stares at the cup. I tried to make conversation but the damn telephone rang, I went over and picked it up
" hello " I spoke confidentiality.

I finish the phone call and place the phone back on the counter, I can't believe what just happened, she said something to me that I would otherwise never hear someone say in my life, how should I tell Dan? Should I be honest or ... I'm going to tell him.
I take a deep breath and look up and Dan, I have literally no idea how to say this... Here it goes...
"Dan? We need to the hospital, now!" .
