VOLUME: ▁▂▃▄▅▆▇ 100%sunday mornings were your favorite
a teenage boy sniffled as he knelt down infront of his grandmas grave with a bouquet of flowers in his hands to celebrate her birthday as he saw a someone in his peripheral vision
i used to meet you down on Woods Creek Road
as he turns his head to the persons direction a smile lit up to his face as he saw a familar face standing a few feet away from him
you did your hair up like you were famous
he saw his girlfriend and first love, y/n.
even though it's only church where we were going
he ran up to her to hug her but she stepped back
now sunday mornings, i just sleep in
he stopped on his tracks as he asked the girl "what's wrong y/n?"
it's like i buried my faith with you
the girl just smiled at him and answered "you won't even be able to feel me if we tried to jaden"
im screaming at a god, i don't know if i believe in
"i don't get it" he answered the girl infront of him
"i-i'll just tell nana you said happy birthday and how much you love and miss her almost everyday" y/n said as a tear left one of her eyes to the boy who still has no clue what she meant earlier
cause i don't know what else i can do
the boy stood in the same position as he watched the love of his life get eaten by the really bright light from above
im still holding on to everything that's dead and gone
tears started streaming down his face after realising what just happened
i don't wanna say goodbye 'cause this one means forever
as he looked down at the grave he is standing next to he read
y/n l/n
(ur bday)- may 2021"death may be the greatest of all human blessings"
now you're in the stars and six feet's never felt so far
he smiled to himself thinking about what just happened to him
here i am alone between the heavens and the embers
as he turned to look at his grandmas grave he saw the same girl standing waving goodbye, slowy fading out as tears went falling down their cheeks at the same time
oh, it hurts so hard for a million different reasons
"god, i miss you so much y/n. i can't believe it has been a year already" the boy whispered as he knelt down to his girlfriends grave
you took the best of my heart and left the rest in pieces
