"Why do insist on trying to give me away,"
The song played in your ear as your eyes fluttered open.
'What time is it?' You thought your eyelids almost closing until you saw the time.
You had 30 minutes to get to work!
Leaping out of bed grabbing an outfit and doing your hair
(You can choose how you would do your hair, if you don't like the outfit just imagine something you would like also make up is optional for y'all who love makeup."

You put your phone and earbud case in your bag before quickly hurrying to your neighbor/best friend Steven Grant

You put your phone and earbud case in your bag before quickly hurrying to your neighbor/best friend Steven Grant.
"STEVEN!"
"YAH?!"
"STEVEN WE HAVE TO HURRY WE ARE GOING TO MISS THE BUS!"
"OH BOLLOCKS !"
You heard his footsteps zooming from one place to another before he swung the door open, as soon as his eyes met yours his face seemed to brighten.
"Alright let's go!"
You grabbed his hand and ran to the elevator, while you waited to reach the ground floor you chatted with Steven.
Once the elevator doors opened you ran to the bus,
Steven was on your heels while he made a call.
You listened to the conversation and thought it was so cute how he told his mother how his day was and how he was going to check in with her later.
"Laters Gators!"
"AH BLOODY HELL STEVEN THE BUS IS LEAVING!!!"
You managed to run ahead and stopped the bus, climbed on with Steven behind you.
Both stood while the bus drove , you noticed that Steven was a little quiet. Turning around you saw him leaning his head on a strangers back, you giggled softly before grabbing his head and laying on your shoulder.

It was finally your stop, shaking Steven Steven lightly.
"Steven, hon come on it's our stop."
He woke up and nodded, you grabbed his hand and began to walk to the museum.
You guys walked into the museum greeting J.b the security guard.
"Good morning J.B.!"
"Mornin' (Y/N)."
"Hello (J.B.)."
"Hey Scotty."
"It's Steven."
You let out a giggle, Steven pouted while looking at you.
"(Y/N) it's not funny."
"I'm sorry 'Scotty'."
"Aight, I'm done."
"NO! Steven I'm sorry!"
He kept walking while you hugged him from behind, he playfully swatted at your hand.
You both saw a little girl with glasses and a blue school uniform stuff a gum wrapper in the crack of the pyramid of Giza replica.
You looked at Steven and he looked at you back before playing along with him.
"Well hello there sweetie!"
"Hmm would you look at that. Looks like someone mistook the Great Pyramid of Giza for a rubbish dump." With a sarcastic yet playful tone in his voice.
"It's not like there is anything in there,"
The young girl said as she eyed the replica.
"Yeah. Maybe not," Steven making a face while looking at you.
You tried to hold in a laugh, while Steven gave you the sweetest smile you've ever seen.
You spoke up, " But in there," you pointed toward the glass case that held a sarcophagus, "something wicked."
You said while wiggling your fingers earning a small smile from the girl.
While she wasn't looking Steven grabbed the gum wrapper and walked toward the glass case.
"Check it out. They'd take this big metal hook right?," you could tell by the way he talked and acted made you feel like he was born to be a tour guide right here in this museum , " and they go up the ol' nozzle and *imitates suction noise* All the organ would come out. Except for the heart."
"How come?," the girl questioned while tilting her head.
"Well, little one it is because they believed you needed your heart to be judged in the Underworld and only the worthiest would be allowed to pass through the Field of Reeds."
"And did it suck for you? Getting rejected from the Field of Reeds?"
You looked at Steven with a goofy smile, " that doesn't make sense 'cause we aren't dead, are we?"
You saw the girl smile.
"Stevie, (m/p/n)*miss pronounced name*
That better not be you two again."
"Sorry,Donna. Yeah sorry. Got it"
You knelt down to the little girl , " why don't you run along little one I'll be touring your school later."
"Really?"
"Mhm! I'll get to tell you some more cool stuff and just between me and you I'll get you some sweets too. How does that sound?"
"OH! Really?! Thank you... uh what's your name?"
"It's (Y/N)! And I'll be your personal tour guide!"
She giggled before running off to a small group of  little girls.
You smiled 'she was too cute!"
Walking to the counter with Steven and Donna,
grabbing your name tag and walkie talkie pinning the tag to your shirt and hooking the walkie to the hem of your pants.
"Don't know how many times I have to tell you this. You're not the bloody tour guide, Stevie."
"Steven, actually. I am... Steven."
Steven whilst he pinned his tag and pointing at it.
"No, you're bloody useless you're actually doing what you're paid to do, which is to sell these to children."
Donna said with a fake smile on her face, before placing a basket full of candy. She walked off the sound of her heals fading out of earshot.
You were a nice person and you really didn't hate people but, you hated her.
You hated the way she spoke to the both of you especially Steven.
Then you heard another pair of heels getting closer, looking up it was a woman dressed in all black with thick curly brown hair and medium toned skin.
"Hello."
"Hello,"Steven responded while waving his hand around.
"How's the sugar trade going?"
"I don't even know what this has todo with Egypt really." Steven said while grabbing one of the candy bags from the basket.
"They didn't have that back then, did they? No. They liked figs and dates, and.."
"My next tour's here but just checking we still on for 7:00 tomorrow ?"
This shocked you, a small feeling began to form in your chest when your heard this.
You just ignored it and help check out the woman that place a couple of items in the counter.
"7:00 tomorrow"?"
"Best stake in town"?"
"Oh, yeah. Right. Yeah."
"Yeah? Okay," she chucked softly before walking off.
Steven walked in her direction causing her to stop.
"Sorry. But.."
"What?"
"Are you asking me out?"
She gave him an odd look before chuckling, " You're funny. I'll see you then."
Steven chuckled while watching her walk off.
"Stevie, you absolute rascal. I didn't know you had taken a crack. I thought you were with sweet ol'
(Y/N) here."
Donna said ima slightly cheery tone while she chewed her gum. Steven looked at your from the side of his eye, he noticed the slightly sad yet embarrassed look you had.
"I didn't know either."
"Hang on, did she say steak?"
Steven nodded.
"What in the world's a bloody vegan gonna eat in a steak house?"
"I don't know,Donna. Salad? Bread?,"
Steven responded in a slightly annoyed tone.
"Yeah, I can see why she went for it.
Real catch you are."
She gave him a dirty look and walked off again.
You were fuming you were about to run up on her from behind but Steven held you back.
"Oi! Love calm down!"
"She shouldn't be taking to you like that it's not right!"
Steven was kind of shocked by your outburst towards Donna.
Finally, someone had his back.
~time skip~
It was later in the day, the museum was closed and it was almost time to leave but you remembered you had inventory with Donna and Steven.
"Bring those hippos up here, will you?"
"I gotcha"
You grabbed the box and placed it on the table while Steven grabbed another box filled it's the same cute hippos.
"Taweret. The hippo, Goddess Tawete. Oh Donna, that reminds me."
'Oh boy she's not going to like this' You thought, you remembered on your break how Steven went on this rant about how the posters in front of the museum had only 7 of the Ennead and there are supposed to becket attic Xu 9.
"When I was coming in this morning, I saw the banners outsid-"
"And that's what made you late for work again, was it?"
Steven winced, " No, sorry about that."
You placed a couple more boxes down and thought to yourself 'this man is too sweet for his own good.'
"The bus came earl-"
"The third time this week you've shuffled in like a lazy sod."
"I know."
