     Blue. White. A speck of yellow. The colors seemed to melt into one another. An endless sight. The on lookers held their breath in impatience, unaware of something lurking. Waiting. Ready...
     Would it be now? Maybe it'll wait a few minutes. Maybe a day. Oh the agony of waiting. Still, it was necessary.
     The thing hid in the shadows of the occupied attendants. How no one noticed is beyond the historians. How'd it get let in was an even bigger question.
     Red. The color was added carefully to the... well, what was it? A few of the higher ups knew. Most didn't.
     Pink. Oh beautiful. More and more color. Seeped in, swayed to the rhythm of an unreadable tempo.
     It was still being patient. Gods it was right there. Everything it's ever wanted, but not something it's ever desired. Should it? Is the time right?
     ...Now.
     Black. Oh it felt ecstasy around it. That's the only way to describe what it was feeling. It growled in a low octave.
     This would be fun.
