The Game

Chapter 2: The Begining

Jayden then opened his eyes to see that he was no longer in that room but in a completely different place. The world around him was filled with trees and green grass and blue skies. The skies were a color of blue that he had never seen before.
"Hello there newbie" came a voice from a little further away
"Who are you" asked Jayden
"Just someone passing along to see the new player" replied the guy
"What your name" Jayden asked him
" That is of no importance right now, but I would suggest getting to town soon because you have a limited amount of time before being attacked by the monsters"
"Okay bye then"
Then Jayden set off heading into town wondering just who that man was. After getting to town he set off to find another player. When he fond another player he asked where he could get a weapon at. The man just walked off calling him an idiot. Hearing cling Jayden went to investigate. There he found a man hitting a hit piece of steel with a hammer. Figuring this place for a blacksmith he asked the man if he could buy a weapon from him.
"Do you have any money" asked the smith eyeing his rambled appearance
"Don't know " replied Jayden then opening his inventory he found that he already had a sword.
"Never mind about the weapon sir" Jayden said walking off
Jayden decided to go out and find a creature to battle. He went into the forest to look for one. Just then a giant monster appeared in front of him. It was large green pig like plant monster with tentacles and vines sprouting out of it. It stood at least ten feet tall.
" LVL 29 Hemongosaur"
Scared Jayden turned to run, but the monster attacked him when a sign popped up "battle engaged". Just then the man leaped forward and using his two swords he cut the monster into three pieces.
"Boy are you lucky that I came along when I did"
+ 369 experience, level up level 13, 12 stat points gained
"Um sir, what do I use stat points for" asked Jayden flustered
"Oh gained experience from that huh, well you use stat points to upgrade your skill in your skill menu, just swipe side ways from your inventory"
Jayden pulled up his inventory and swiped side ways and the there was his skill menu. It showed one hand swords:1 magic:1 speed:1 strength:1 archery:1 two-hand:1
He upgraded one hand by three points, magic by three, speed by three, and strength by 3.
" Why hasn't my health and stamina improved" Jayden asked
" Because you have to work on them by training, not leveling up, now come on let's get you back to town, and remember no more coming to this forest, you can head into any other forest, but this one. This one is meant for higher levels than you."
After the man escorted Jayden back to the village he told him that the programmers had set it up for the players to have a place to stay for the first week after their arrival ( in game not real world). He showed him the place and told Jayden that they will give him a weapon of his choosing.
Jayden went inside the place to see the woman from the grey room sitting at a desk.
"So, I see that you have finally made it here" the woman then looks up and starts to look a little startled.
"What wrong" Jayden asked getting a little worried.
"How are you level thirteen, you just started today normally it takes people five weeks to reach that level."
"Oh that, it's just that I had a run in with a level 29 monster"
"How did you survive, there is no way you could have won" the woman cut in
"A man helped me out, he killed with one hit" Jayden informed her
"Oh" was all that woman could say. Snapping back into it she said, " Well I guess that I will take you to your room now, follow me and tomorrow we can discuss things better because it is getting late now."
The next day Jayden woke up as the sun was coming up, not something he was used to. He decided to go out and have a look around. When he went outside he saw that green, vibrant trees were outlining the perimeter of the building. He also saw a grove of trees near the back of the property. Back in the groves he saw someone training, it was a person wearing a black coat. Just then the figure looked at him and he flushed, embarrassed at being caught. He quickly hurried inside to see the grey woman sitting at her desk.
"Excuse me, but the man that showed me the way her told me that I get to choose a weapon of my liking" Jayden said
"Oh, yes sorry must have slipped my mind", the grey woman said,"So which would you
like"
"Well, I decided on a katana" Jayden said
"Okay then here you go." The woman handed Jayden a katana. "Now be careful with it, it is very sharp"
After that he headed out to start training.
