New Life: Quality Mother and Daughter Time

(This picture is for some reason one of my favorites)

I grabbed a small rattle next to me and looked at it curiously. It was in the shape of a heart and it way way too colorful to look at directly so I put it down a soon as I picked up the dumb thing.

'Geez are they trying to blind me or something?'

It has been a couple months since I found out I was a 'Princess'. And just let me say these few months have been the most...... boring thing I have experienced in my life. All I do is wake up, eat, play, then sleep, then eat again, then play, then go to bed, and repeat! They toys wen't even that entertaining too!

I looked around the room boredly slumping where I sat.

"Huh?" Tsumugi said curiously. "Whats wrong Princess Y/n?"

'I will never get used to them calling me 'Princess'.'

Tsumugi looked at me nervously. "Kirumi Princess Y/n is acting strange!" She called desperately to the female sitting across the room on a rocking chair reading. After all this time you think blueberry head would at least have picked up some baby tips but nope she is still clueless. "Hm?" Kirumi said before closing her book and walking over to where I was sitting. "She hasn't been playing with anything for awhile and she was about to a second ago but just set it down with only looking at it just once."

'Yea because the stupid thing almost blinded me!'

"Maybe she is bored?" Suggested Sayaka as she walked over to us. "Possibly. But I can't quite figure out why she has toys to play with." Tsumugi opposed as she fiddled with her pale fingers. "She is possibly bored of the toys and wants something else to do?"

Just at that moment the doors to the nursery swung wide open and a beautiful woman walked in. The female had long bright blonde hair and dim blue eyes.

Then she suddenly walked up to me. To be honest I was a little freaked out. Who the heck was this woman and why was she coming up to me?

"Hello Y/n." The female said with a small smile.

All of the maids suddenly started to bow. "Good evening Queen Sonia." They said.

'Queen?! Is she my mom?!'

The queen bent down and picked me up into her arms. She swayed a little bit as if to keep me calm.

"Has she eaten?" Queen Sonia asked as she turned to the maids. "Yes Queen Sonia." Kirumi said, still bowing with all the other maids.

After all the queen's position in the castle was much higher then the maids position.

"Oh that's a shame. I was planning to have her eat with us. " Queen Sonia said with a sigh, "I can't change the past though, after all it's my own fault for not informing you of my plans. I'll just go on a walk in the garden with my daughter. Kirumi would you come with me?" She finished up with a small smile directed towards the maid. "Of course." Kirumi said as she lifted herself up and followed the queen out of the room.

'So she is my mom. Wait this is my first time out of that room! Were even going outside! Oh sweet fresh air I have missed you!'

My mother walked down the halls with me in her arms and Kirumi behind her. I kept looking around wherever we went. It was my new home after all, you can't expect me not to be curious.

I heard my mom giggled and I turned my head to her curiously, "Your quite the curious girl aren't you Y/n?"

We kept walking until we approached big brown and golden double doors. Kirumi quickly speed walked to the door and opened one of them before Sonia could get to it. Sonia smiled and walked through the door.

I felt a flush of wind against my face as soon as we stepped outside. I looked around and I was in awe at the sight. It was a beautiful garden with all types of flowers in it. It had paths and fountains everywhere too. But the most beautiful part of the garden was this one huge fountain in the middle of everything that had colorful flowers around it.

My mother started to walk on the paths heading towards the huge fountain in the middle. She walked towards it and sat down on the rim of the fountain.

"Do you see all those coins Y/n?" Sonia said as she turned her head to me. "People say that your wish will come true if you throw a coin in a fountain." I looked at all of the bright and shiny coins that were sunk to the bottom of the fountain.

'Guess you can still make wishes in a fountain, even around these times.'
