The breakup

So me and my boyfriend blaze has been dating for over 8 months and my best friend Hanna I've known for 2 years. I found it weird that every time we hung out my best friend would always be there but I really didn't think much of it .

So one day I decided I just wanted to hang out with my boyfriend without my best friend there so I was in my room trying to figure out how I was going to tell her I didn't want to hang out with her.

" hey I just wanted you to know I didn't wanna hang out with you today because I just wanna be alone with my boyfriend " Ugh no then she going to think I don't like hanging out with her " hey I don't wanna hang out with you today because every time I'm hanging out with my boyfriend you always wanna join in" no then she definitely gonna think that I feel some type of way about her always being around  .

I flopped on the bed stressing out until I finally decided to text her .

I sat my phone down on the dresser and finished the rest of my makeup.

I hear a knock at the door automatically rushed downstairs tripping and falling on the bottom step but I got up and brushed it off and ran to open the door.

I opened the door to a big smile and a rose I went to the side of the door so he could walk in. When he walked in he looked confused so I asked him what's wrong and he said " is hanna here?" But I told him Hanna wasn't gonna be there it was just gonna be us two and he gave me an awkward smile. " So you choose what movie we're gonna watch while I go grab my phone from upstairs" I said while running upstairs to quickly grab my phone.

I walked back downstairs and sat next to him but he suspiciously shut his phone off and started talking about this movie called " after" I looked at him and nodded.

" have you watched this movie before " he asked I shook my head no I watched it before but he didn't know that so I just went along with it . " okay I'm going to get the snacks " I said walking to the kitchen to grab the takis, trail mix, gummy bears, and fruit and ice cold tea .

I peeked over my shoulders to look at him and he was on his phone smiling hard at whatever he was doing but I just thought he was smiling at the fact that we were finally alone together so I brushed it off .

" okay here are the snacks lets turn off all the lights and start the movie" I said walking to turn the lights off as he waited til I came back to start the movie .

" how could harden be such an asshole" I blurted out and looked at him but he was on his phone so I turned back around towards the tv to watch the movie.

About 15 minutes later he went to use the bathroom and left his phone on the couch

But I paused the movie and waited til he came back . I was on my phone watching tik tok until I felt a vibration from his phone on the couch so I flipped his phone over after I felt another vibration and it was messages from Hanna.

I quickly threw his phone back where it was and went back on my phone because he was coming back down stairs. " took you long enough" I said as he was walking downstairs wiping his hand on his shirt " well a man's gotta to what he gotta do" he said smirking " umm you should go I'm going to get some rest " I said as I started walking towards the door as a sign for him to leave " you sure " he said smirking " because I would love to "rest" with you" he said smirking looking me up and down " yeah I'm sure bye " he walked towards me and gave me a kiss but I didn't kiss him back.

When he left I shut the door and locked it. I went to my room trying to get the messages between them out of my head. I shut my eyes not even noticing the tears streaming down my face .
