Chapter Two

ATHENA POV

I regain consciousness with Kyle shaking me like a mad man, we haven't moved.

Turning my head to look at Kenna. Her eyes are beginning to flutter open slowly, I look at Kyle and grab my Glock G17 making a move to get out the car.

Kyle follows grabbing his gun. Once we get outside of the car, ''We need to look around, make sure that we are safe to ditch this car and get a new one.'' I say, Kyle just nods his head obeying my order.

The car is wrecked, along with the other two cars that had crashed into us. When they first hit I thought we had been caught, I thought my brothers had been told.

We definitely needed to get a new one, both wing mirrors are gone; the whole front windscreen is missing.

Lucky I don't even own it or I would be pissed. It's one of my brothers cars, my youngest older one actually. I'm kind of glad it happened, just to piss them off.

We aren't stupid I know exactly what your thinking 'why would you take one of there's surely they are bugged and have trackers', they don't we checked I promise.

I huff in annoyance knowing that we are probably going to have to travel miles, we was meant to get further than this.

Looking into the car, I look directly at Kenna. ''We are going to make sure it's alright to carry on, just don't move. We will get you when we know it is, okay?'' I speak clearly looking her in the eyes. She begins to protest.

'' No Athena, I want to come with you. Why have I got to stay behind?'' She whines at me. I turn my back to her so I can roll my eyes without her catching a glimpse of me doing so.

''Kenna, I want to make sure it is safe first. I told you I would get you out and I don't want you to be stuck in a worse position than what you already was.'' I say firmly, slamming the car door as I leave.

The car door reopens as soon as it is shut, turning back around to face the car I see Kenna scurrying out quickly. I glare at her, when she looks up she gives me a timid smile. ''I'm coming,'' she says ''your not going to stop me.''

I look to Kyle for some assistance, seeing as he has now joined me outside of the car and is standing next to me. He gives me a shrug and I sigh. Yeh, thanks for the help Kyle.

Storming toward Kenna, looking angrier than ever I grab her by her arm with a tight grip. She doesn't protest at all and just excepts her fate, swinging the car door back open. I push her inside and give her a look that could kill, this time she keeps her mouth shut and gives me a nod to say she understands.

I get out of the car and slam the door shut again still looking at Kenna through the window. She gives me a sad look but I don't want to put her into danger and especially when we don't know what is ahead.

''We have a back up car not that far.'' I hear from behind me.

''Lead the way.'' Kyle begins to walk so I catch up and walk next to him.

Guns in hand at the ready, just incase, you can never be too careful. We head off, he better know where we are going.

Me and Kyle were walking in silence, that was until Kyle broke it. ''Your brothers were pissed Athena, like I really mean it. You really did it this time, I don't blame you but it's going to be really bad if they catch you.''
