It was around 8 in the evening when we arrived at the mansion and Josh dropped me off at the huge black gates of it.

Not being able to find a door bell I walked towards the guards house which was located beside the gates and knocked thrice before a bulky man opened the door.

"What do you want sugarcane" The man asked eyeing my body up and down like a piece of meat as I rolled my eyes at the stupid pet name. 

"I am th-h-e new mai-id Scarlet" I fake stammered trying to act innocent.

"You little one a maid don't you think your body can do alot of things other than cleaning and shit" He said well more like stated while walking closer to me.

"I do-n-n't know Mr." I replied trying not to punch him in the face "Oh you can I am sure of it little one" He uttered as I could smell his breath which stinks because of how close he was.

"Maybe next ti-me right now I-I have to go Mr." I replied batting my lashes trying to fake innocence through gritted teeth, the guard smiled showing his yellow teeth with a nod.

Before escorting me through the mansion's lands, garden and fountains with a little golf car thing because of how massive it was until we reached the entrance gate which lead inside the mansion.

He pulled his phone out of his pocket before calling a woman named 'Riley' telling her to show me around and instructing me to wait here until she comes before he winked at me and left as I mumbled 'dickhead' under my breath.

After 5 minutes of waiting a blonde haired woman who wouldn't be older than twenty-four opened the door a warm smile on her face and ushered me in.

"Hi my name is Riley" The overly joyed woman spoke "Scarlet Jones" I introduced with a fake smile of my own.

"So Scarlet how come you wanted to work here" Riley questioned curiously as we took a flight of stairs downward.

"My good friend is the one who told me" I replied checking the corners for hidden cameras.

"Riley how many people live in this mansion without the maids and guards" I asked.

"Only three" She answered as we turned to a hallway "Have you met the owner of the mansion" I questioned.

"Oh yes he is really intimidating, but lucky you he is away for a business trip at the moment and only his two bestfriends are here" She answered making me deeply sigh in annoyance at the thought my target not being here.

"This is the maid's quarter and your room is beside that white door over there" She said pointing at an oak door "Aren't you supposed to show me around" I asked raising my eyebrows.

"Yes but it is late now and I have to leave for my vacation time so I will inform Mrs.Clark about you before leaving" Riley answered.

"When will you be back" I questioned "The day of the party" She replied before disappearing through the halls.

I entered my room and it was kinda nice with a single bed, a wardrobe, a vanity table with a mirror beside the bed and my own personal bathroom in a separated room which is connected to my room with a door.

I sighed tiredly before throwing my suitcase to the side and falling on to the bed sleep immediately taking me.
