Hana sat down in a row by herself and began writing down things for the class as per usual.
My mother met my father while she was in university.
A familiar voice grabbed Hana's attention, "Morning, Hana!!"
Hana smiled as she greeted her friend, Micchan, back, "Good Morning, Micchan." Micchan moved over to Hana with a big smile on her face. She sat beside her and spoke, "So, Hana... Did you ever finish the assignment?"
Hana knew what was coming but decided to just go along with it, "Yes, I did." Micchan clapped her hands together in delight, "Oh! Great! Do you mind if I copy it?"
Hana let out a soft sigh before scolding her, "Again? You need to start doing your own work." Micchan laughed, "It's because your a lifesaver! I just need help, just this one time!" As Micchan spoke a soft shuffle came from behind Hana, she turned and mumbled, "Micchan...."
Hana turned to see a black haired man behind her. She quickly turned as she realized she was staring. Her eyes glanced at him once again, but immediately looked back at her book. 'I saw him last week. What year is he in?'
Hana tried paying attention to the teacher, though it was hard as she had wanted to know more about the mysterious student that caught her attention. 'Hm... He's taking a lot of notes. Must be because he doesn't have a textbook...'
Micchan turned seeing Hana unusually preoccupied staring at something, "Hana? You okay? Is there something there?" Hana jumped and looked back at her textbook, "N-no! Nothing." She whispered.
After class ended everyone turned in their slips to make sure that they are accounted for their attendance. Micchan smiled as she walked over to Hana who had quickly turned in her attendance slip. "Where's our next class again? I forgot?" She giggled. Hana could only sigh to herself.
"Its..." She would pause as she saw the man from earlier walk out of the classroom. "Oh! U-uhm, Micchan! It's the first door to the left of this classroom. I have something to do." She said as she quickly followed the man as fast as she could.
"W-wait a minute!" She inspired so that he could hear her. The man would turn to look at her which made Hana blush slightly. "You didn't hand it a attendance slip... If you don't then you can't get credit for coming to class."
The would slowly turn as he said, "I'm not a student here. Am I distracting? Then I won't come back." He said before he turned around to walk outside once again. Hana lowered the attendance slip to her side as she watched him.
A child would come running and trip, landing on his face. The man would stop and help the kid up, softly patting his head before watching the child run off to play once again. Hana couldn't help but smile back.
She would soon catch up to him once again. "E-excuse me!" She said, clenching her textbook to her chest. He looked back at her. "Is there something else you wanted to tell me?" He asked.
Hana looked down nervous. "Uhm... Well, whether or not you are a student that class is really hard..." She held out her textbook, "Let's share a textbook from now on!"
The man smiled at her generosity. Hana couldn't help but blush.
The whole day, Hana wondered on and on about guy.
While working at the Laundromat, 'I wonder if he'll come to class tomorrow...'
While at the grocery store, 'I wonder if he likes carrots...'
Eating, 'I wonder what his favorite food could be...'
When she was reading, 'I wonder if he likes to read..'
Even when she was looking at clothes in the mirror, 'I wonder what clothes he likes on a girl...'
The next day Hana would arrive at school, excited to see the guy. He was practically on her mind 24/7 and she was just ready to spend time with him. She was surprised when she didn't see him in the class, 'Ah... He hasn't arrived'. She thought before she sat down.
She would spend sometime staring outside of the window before she heard some clatter from beside her. She jumped and turned to face the person. It was him, he let out a sigh before whispering, "I was running late..." She would smile before they spent time together in class, outside, eating lunch and reading in the library everyday.

During winter, the two stood on a hill looking down at the beautiful nature that is just ahead. The only noise filling their ears being the window as it flowed through their hair. The man would eventually break the silence. "Your name... .Why Hana?" He asked.
Hana chuckled as she let out a soft breath, visible air coming from her mouth. "The cosmos in the garden had began blooming when I was born. My father.. He wanted to raise a child who was always smiling like a flower. Even when things get hard ." She paused thinking back before she continued, "That's why I smiled at his funeral, my relatives thought I was being disrespectful though. I suppose... Maybe they were right?" She asked, turning to look at him.
He softly shook his head before saying, "It wasn't disrespectful." She blushed before she smiled as she laughed. "That's good."
The two would walk around the city, talking as they walked. "I'm a mover. I see a lot of homes; homes with money, homes without any money, homes with big families, homes with one person, homes with kids, homes with elders..." He smiled as he spoke and Hana paid close attention. He sighed, "It must be nice to just... Walk on it and say, "I'm home!" ."
Hana pressed her shoulder against his, "I'll be there to say, "Welcome back home." ." She would look up at him and smile. He smiled back as he looked down at him.
That's when something comes to mind. "Hana..." He muttered.
"Yes?" She asked, her head slightly tilting.
"I have something I want to show you." He says before he has her close her eyes so she wouldn't see anything. She would open her eyes slightly only to be stopped. "A little longer..." She immediately closed her eyes back
It wouldn't take long before she opened them back up, glancing up at the once man now wolf that stood in front of her.
My father was the last existing kind of the Japanese wolves that had gone extinct.
She was surprised but she wasn't scared, what was there to be scared of?
