Hana sat down on a stump by a tree as we all sat around her, doing different things as we listened. Well, Yuki was catching snakes while Ame and me were actually listening. "Four months after coming in the world, the wolf begins to hunt. The pups first learn to hunt small animals such as mice..." Hana read. Yuki would begin moving around in a small group of grass before picking up a snake. "Snake! I got a snake!"

As Yuki was shouting about how she caught a snake. Ame could hear growling coming from the bushes. After a while, he called for Hana. "Mommy?" She looked over and was shocked to see him all bruised and teary eyed. "What happened?! Are you okay?!" She asked as she quickly took him inside.

After patching and cleaning him up, she began comforting as he cried. Yuki would soon say, "It was a tortoise shell cat!" As she ate. She'd continue scolding Ame, "You're supposed to be a wolf! Because you're weak, it attacked you. You won't ever make it like this!"

"Yuki..." Hana said, trying to get her attention but Yuki would continue on her rant. "I could probably beat a boar! Maybe even a money or goat! I definitely won't be scared! It's funny to see them run away when you chase them too, so its-"

She was cut off by Hana, "Yuki. You't chase after animals shouldn't be in the mountains." Yuki would be confused and asked, "But why not?"

"It would make your father upset... Please." Hana said, as she looked at the picture of our father. Yuki would sigh and nod, "Okay..."

Ame would ask, "Mommy... Why are wolves always the bad guys?" Hana looked at all the books with wolves in them. Ame would continue, "Everyone always hates them, and they get killed... If there so bad, then I hate them..."

Hana smiled before she said what she thought, "Maybe, but even so. I still like wolves. Even if everyone hates them a lot. No matter what, I'll be on their side." She softly caressed Ame and Yuki's cheek.

Though as she did that, I walked over, holding the tortoise shell cat that attacked Ame in my arms. "Momma!" Ame would immediately bury his head in Hana's lap once again. She would gasp, "W-where did you get t -that?! Maybe we should put the cat back outside?" She said, calmly. When she went to reach for me, the cat would swat at her though she quickly moved her hands so she wouldn't get hurt.

Yuki pouted as she looked at the cat, "So it's okay for Y/n to do it but not me?" Hana would sigh as I giggled and let the cat go outside, watching as it ran off quickly.

Hana would be sitting in a wooden tub full of water as Ame has water poured over his head by Yuki. I was pouring water on Yuki's head as well. Hana would begin talking as she leaned over the edge of the tub. "We have to be as frugal as possible." Yuki would ask, "Froogull?"

Hana nodded, "Yes. We have to learn how to grow vegetables." Yuki would soon whip her head, quickly getting the soap and water off of her. It would hit both me and Ame. She put a paw up, "I'll grow them too!!"

The next day, we would all begin planting stuff. Well Hana did most of the work, we were able to pour the seeds inside of the wholes.

Over a span of a few days, Yuki would begin dragging everyone to see the crops. "C'mon!! Look!" She said as she grabbed Hana's sleeve. Once we arrived, we noticed the plants were starting to grow and looked great Hana smiled, "Wow!" We all said in unison.

Though as Yuki began hopping up and down in excitement, Hana noticed a car pulling up. It was Mr. Nirasaki. Hana would smile, "Ah! Hello, I've been so busy that I haven't had time to come say hello."

The man would say, "Don't smile like that, you could leave the plants alone and they'll still grow." He said before he drove off, leaving Hana a bit distraught.
