Spoiler Alert: It's really hard.
After Anya and Eri agreed to be with Papa as if they were their biological daughters, they would all go home together. Eri was so excited because she had escaped from the orphanage! She wanted so much to sleep in her own cozy bed, to have the bedding and toys of her own choosing, and it seemed like it would finally come true.
Just as they were about to enter the house, one of their neighbors had come to greet them.
"Well, aren't you two cute little girls? Hello there."
Her sweet and heartfelt greeting warmed Eri's heart. It was so cute! Eri wanted to respond to a sincere sentence with a heartfelt one.
"Hi ma'am, my name is Eri. We just moved here and it's nice to meet you."
Loid was pleased with Eri's answer. The girl didn't seem like the risk-taking type and she oddly seemed aware of the situation, so it made sense for her to use a polite phrase without being noticed. (He didn't know Eri was talking like that because she just felt like it.) Realizing that he should have greeted the woman himself, Loid took off his hat and bowed.
"We're the Forgers. As Eri said, we just moved in today."
Anya wanted to say "Nice to meet you" too, but since Anya knew about Papa's mission and was now a part of it, she had to focus on her mission and treat the woman as if she had always been Dad's daughter! There was only one way to make her believe it!
"I'm Anya. I've been Papa's child for a very long time."
Huh! The Woman now believes one hundred percent that she is Papa's daughter. Who wouldn't believe it, she stated it herself!
'Anya! It was very suspicious. What are you doing?' said Eri's panicked inner voice.
Since Eri and Anya were childhood friends and technically grew up together, they knew everything about each other. Their superpowers were no exception. Eri generally preferred to talking to her through her mind, knowing that Anya could hear what she was thinking. Although this is usually a one-sided conversation, it works very well in situations like these. (You know, there are friends who understand what they mean with a single glance, they are like them, but the only difference is that they can understand what you really mean!)
The woman looked at Anya, surprised by what she heard. Loid, on the other hand, was trying to hide his surprise.
That wasn't necessary.
"Come on, let's go inside"
They entered their new home. As Anya rushed in, excited about having a new home, Eri walked in, looking around a little and feeling embarrassed.
"This is Anya's and Eri's house?" said Anya, who was still running.
"Yes." said Loid monotonously. Anya, on the other hand, saw her favorite thing while looking around and ran towards it.
