He said and as soon as his words fell in my ears... A hard realisation stuck me!

So that's what his motive??

He wanted me to stop everything by myself....

Cause he knows if I want I can destroy it?

I looked at him with wide eyes and I found his jaw clenching. I knew why ... Cz he could read my mind.

"That wasn't my motive!" He blurted as I could see a reflection of defeat in his eyes....

Ik... Being defeated in the motive of stopping me but no! Enough of ur illustrations to me!

"I don't believe u Aarav!" I said and watched him standing up.

"Sweeth...." he tried to say something though I knew what it was, I stopped him.... I hated to be called sweetheart from his mouth at first.

"let's start the game again" I said and his jaw clenched.

"U know the play of pawns very well right?" He said with a smirk but not a pleasant one for sure.

I wondered.... "Yes"

Then he nodded his head sideways and I stared his move.... I was surprised that how I didn't see the last pawn he moved was to remove my piece from its place....

"Great.... So here u go...." He said and placed his pawn at the last square of white piece side.....

Now he could retrieve his any strong chess piece....!! Damm!!

I was regretting badly... I couldn't let him to take another strong piece!

"The game soon coming to an end nevertheless it'll not end before the massives to endulge in a fight.... Two rulers can't survive. one have to die while another with retrieve"

He said and his eyes darkening at his each words.... The only thing I understood is.... Till the end I have to fight with the evil king.

"I take back my rook" He said and the temperature started raising.... I looked at him with widened eyes just to witness his continuous cold smirk.

I saw another chess board appeared infront..... I checked it deeply to find our old set up when I had cut his rook. The rook moved out of it and floated in the air.

Now it was my time to play..... And I knew it.... He regained his another piece that also means my another defeat and now .....

"Punishment" He said while laughing manacingly.

I gulped down.... Soon I felt a burning sensation in my palms.... I pursed my lips in a line, squeezing my eyes hard....

It's nothing...

It's nothing....

It's not burning....

I kept on chanting but as the seconds passed, the pain grew unbearable....
