Introduction:

The Little Ten Pound Pom, Australia & The Jacaranda Tree

Four sonnets dedicated & based on the inspiration of Wattpad user Gail Runschke, about a discussion and education about Jacarandas Trees in Australia during her holiday to Brisbane in 2004 with her family...

However I placed the character in the poems in Sydney to begin with.  I have also set the poems during the Ten Pound Pom era of Australia where the character, a little girl of the same first name namesake as Wattpad's Gail Runschke, and her adventurous parents find themselves on an adventure to the outback of Australia. Where the little Gail glimpses something out of the corner of her right eye. This glimpse installs the feelings of  the family to settle near the object of their newfound fascination and call that special place, home...

So here's to Gail, the Jacaranda Trees and Australia...
