Carnaval
On the phone to Cassie.
"Listen Cass, please stop calling and texting me. I'll talk to you when I'm ready and you're ready" says Noah
"Are you mad at me?" asks Cassie.
"No I'm not. It's just I think we need time away from each other and it might be good for your relationship with Mckay. Maybe he's the one for you" says Noah as he tries to get it in her head.
"Please Noah. I'm so sorry. Can we just forget what happened between us never happened" begs Cassie.
"Yeah. But we need to see if we can still be as close as we were. I got to go Cass. My dad's waiting for me" says Noah as he ends the call.

A little while later
Seeing Mckay and Cassie come towards his family's stall.
"Fuck. Fuck" says Noah before he ducks under the table.
Hearing his dad dig into Mckay. Was a another reason he didn't like his dad anymore.
"Where's Noah" asks Cassie.
"He's under the table" announces his dad.
"Hi guys" says Noah as he stands up and glares at his dad before turning towards the "couple".
"Hey" says Cassie shyly.
"Hey man" says Mckay.
"Lay off Mckay dad" says Noah.
"I'm just trying to help him stay with a girl like that" says his dad.
"Shut up dad" says Noah.
"Why? It's not like we're in a relationship. Plus, I don't even like football" says Cassie.
"Whoa. It's not just football. It's life. It's about maintaining your focus. It's about putting your all into everything you do. Why do you think I got I have the business I have? Why do you think I have the family I have? The success I have? Why do you think this chilli has been voted best chilli in the country five years in a row? " says his dad.
"Stop with your nonsense. Fuck off dad. Cass, it's just a stupid motto he lives by. He didn't even play professional so I never see where the life came from. Dad, this is why people don't like you and "what family I have" you don't give a shit about us " states Noah.
"Cause he refuses to lose" chimes in Aaron.
"No it's about who you are becoming in the world. I'm just looking out for you " says his dad ignoring Noah like usually.
"Bye Cass" says Noah. She waves to him and continues walking away.

A little while later
Sitting beside the chilli stand. Noah scrolled through his phone waiting to hear who wins so he can go and see his friends.
" And this years winner's of the chilli cook off is .... Cal Jacobs. Make it six year and running!" shouts one of the judges.
Noah then stands beside his brother and wraps his arm around him. As they take a picture for the newspaper.
"Can't wait until this is over" whispers Noah too Nate who nods at him.
When everybody stops clapping. But Maddie keeps clapping but then stops.
"Yeah, I'm not supposed to be here right now because I'm dressed like a hooker and none of you like me. But i just wanted to say congratulations" says Maddie walking towards the booth.
" Maddie get out of --" says Nate before Maddie topples the saucepan of chilli over.
"Maddie, seriously why would you do that. Nate what the fuck did you do" says Noah turning towards his brother.
"What in god's name is your problem?" questions his mom.
"You, cunt" says Maddie.
"What the fuck, Maddie. That's my mother your talking too" says Noah wrapping his arm around his mother while glaring at Maddie.
For a second Noah thought he saw a flash of guilt but it disappeared as Nate grabbed her by her arm.

Behind the train
"Your fucking dead to me. Noah is going to beyond furious at you. He loves my mom with all his heart. Fuck you" says Nate as he walks away.
"I just have one thing to say. I never loved you. I used you to get to Noah. I love him but he only wants to sleep with me every so often and then feels guilty" says Maddie smirking at him behind her sadness.
"You worthless slut. You think my brother loves you. He doesn't he loves your blonde friend Cassie. She's so much better than you. She's perfect for him and she'd give him so much more than you can offer" pushing Maddie harshly against the wall before choking her.

Maddie's bedroom
Sitting in Maddie's bed. When she comes in.
"Madeline, why the fuck would you disrespect my mother. The most important woman in my life apart from my granny, Rue and Cassie" says Noah.
"Noah, I'm sorry I was just furious at Nate and Nate told me she called me a bitch" says Maddie.
"That doesn't give you the right. To disrespect her" states Noah.
"I need to tell you sometime and please I didn't mean to tell your brother about us" blurts out Maddie.
" There isn't an us Maddie. We fucked a few times and that was it. Do you know what you've done? He's my fucking brother. One of the only people I love. I don't know what to do if I lost him. I'm sorry Mads. I'm just sad that I'm going to lose him. He's my other half. I need to go and what is on your neck" says Noah as Maddie steps in the light.
Maddie moves towards him and he lightly touches the bruises on her neck.
"Did Nate do this to you? He hurt you because he found out what happened. I'm so sorry " Says Noah as he pulls her into his lap.
