Your POV When I moved to Stars Hollow, all anybody was talking about was how Rory Gilmore chose Dean Forester over Jess Mariano. People say he never comes out of his room, he doesn't go to school, some say he doesn't even eat. I got my first glimpse of him at the bookstore. He was returning a Jane Austin book. I decided to go up to him when he was browsing. "Hey-" I start. He jumps and when he sees me, we lock eyes for a moment before he runs out of the bookstore. Weird.
Jess POV I'm returning the Jane Austin book Rory recommended me when I hear someone next to me. "Hey-" I jump. When I turn around I see a beautiful girl. Wait I know her, she's the girl who just moved here. I guess I've never seen her yet because I haven't been going to school. I get lost in her gorgeous y/e/c eyes. When I notice I'm staring at her, I panic and run out of the book store. Smooth Jess, real smooth.
*a couple hours later* Your POV Tonight my mom and I are going to Luke's.

Luke and my mom knew each other growing up so he convinced her to move here. When we arrived I saw a familiar face working behind the counter. The second I saw him his face turned bright red. I decide to try and converse with him while Luke and my mom talk. I walk up to the counter and sit down at a barstool right in front of him. "Hi. I didn't get to properly introduce myself earlier, I'm y/n" I say.
Jess POV Oh no. I see the gorgeous girl walk up to the diner and walk in. I can already tell I'm blushing. Something about her presence draws me in. I don't know if it was her gorgeous eyes, silky hair, her style, her complexion, or all of her perfect features. Something about her was just so...OH NO SHE PROBABLY THINKS IM CRAZY. "Hi. I didn't get to properly introduce myself earlier, I'm y/n" even her name is beautiful. I snap out of my daze and create a response. "Hi, I'm Jess" I mumble. She seems surprised by my cold tone. I don't want to be cold to her but I can't fall for someone else. That didn't exactly work out last time. When they sit down I silently curse myself out.
Your POV Now I see why Rory rejected Jess. He's cold and distant and impolite. Even if there is more to him I do not want to know. With his snarky attitude, I best surround myself with nicer friends. If he's not gonna be nice to me, why should I be nice to him?
