Chapter 3

2013 the girls are at the VMAs

"Girls! Girls! Over here!" Yelled the interviewer.
The five girls walk over to the older man and prepare for the the interview.
"Hi! It's so nice to finally meet you girls!" He exclaims.
"It's nice to meet you too!" Says Camila.
"Alright so I asked some people on twitter to send us questions to ask you is that okay?" He asks.
"Yes of course." Says Ally.
"Alright first question, someone asked how is life now after the Xfactor?" He reads off from his phone.
"Well now that we're signed to an actual music label is really awesome but it's also gotten a little harder especially with five girls which we have to wake up earlier because of the makeup and dressing up and all but it's really great to be with 4 other sisters by your side." Says Lauren with honesty in her voice.
"Okay... the second question is.... what will we be expecting in the near future from you guys?" He asks.
"Well we're going to have an album coming out....and were going on your with Demi!" Camila screams with excitement.
"Okay so....we have a question here for... Camila and it says...are you and Austin dating?" He asks happily.
Lauren immediately furrows her eyebrows and wonders why people think that. A bit of jealousy takes over and she keeps thinking to herself and telling herself that Camila is hers and not anyone else's.
"Um...no...we're really good friends and he's a cool guy so..." She says awkwardly while taking glances at Lauren who was looking other ways to avoid Camila's eyes.
"Okay thank you for joining me in this interview and hopefully I'll see you guys soon again!" The interview says as he starts walking to other celebrities.
The girls start walking down farther down the carpet with Lauren in front to avoid the other girls clearly still kind of jealous from what was asked. As she was walking she felt someone grab her hand and she immediately knew who it was and just let her hand be grabbed while still looking other ways.

"Lauren what's wrong?" Camila asks concerned as to why the other girl wasn't looking at her.
"Nothing." The other girl responds simply.
"Then look at me and tell me there's nothing wrong because it doesn't seem like there's nothing wrong." She says.
"Lauren is this about the Austin question?" She adds.
"No" she answers simply.
"Laur, we're just friends I don't like him like that. Only you." She says.
"Yeah I know but I just get jealous that people think you're together because me and you are dating and not you and him." She says looking at Camila this time.
"Oh I would kiss you right now if I could." Camila says annoyed.
"Who said you couldn't?" Lauren said with a smirk.
"Shut up or else I'll just leave you walking alone." Camila says rolling her eyes and letting out a little giggle.

"Thank you everybody for coming to the VMAs we hope you had a great time!" Says an announcer.
"Oh my god you guys I see Justin Timberlake someone hold me I might faint!" Screams Ally as they start making they're way to the exit.
"Ally you should go ask for a picture!" Says Normani.
"No Mani it's not my time I have to wait for the perfect day to get a picture." Ally says as she stares at Justin talking to one of the workers.
"Alright but you had a good chance to get a picture Ally." Normani says as she lifts her hands up and shrugging her shoulders.

"So are we sharing a room together at the hotel?" Camila asks Lauren as they make there way out the door.
"I don't know babe do you want to?" Lauren asks.
"Of course I do I want to cuddle with you!" Camila says while smiling widely.
"Hey! Camilla wait!" Camila hears her name said wrong but knew who it was making all of the girls turn around only to see Austin.
"Hey Austin! How are you?" Camila asks as the rest of the girls get in to the SUV except for Lauren who is still holding Camila's hand and staring at Austin intently.
"I'm great how about you?" He asks with a smile.
"I'm fine thank you." She responds.
"Okay.. Well I want to ask you something.... In private..." The boy says as he looks at Lauren waiting for her to leave him and Camila alone for a bit.
"Um I don-" Camila starts looking at Lauren but is cut of by the girl next to her.
"No Camila it's fine... I'll be... In the car." She smiles at Camila and gives a fake smile to the boy standing in front of her. She walks in to the SUV while the other girls just look always using there phones while Lauren just stares out the window to see if Austin attempts to do something.

"So..what is it that you want to ask me?" Camila asks concerned.
"Well...I was wondering" he starts and grabs Camila's hand to his sweaty ones.
"Um if you'd like to go out somewhere with me? Me and my team are staying in town and you guys are too. So I was just wondering if you'd like to go out and eat or something..?" He asks unsure.

"Um.. I don't know I'll have to see if I have time but I'll text you, okay?" Camila lies.
"Oh alright just text me if you have time.." He says smiling.
"I will, bye Austin" she says.
He leans in for a hug while Camila hugs him awkwardly.

She walks back to the SUV and took a seat in the back with Lauren who had her earphones in and had music playing all the way up to block out the rest of the world.

Lauren turns her head when she feels a hand on her thigh smiling at the girl next to her. The ride back to the hotel was quiet with Normani and ally on they're phones and Dinah taking selfies on her phone. Lauren in the back with Camila still with her headphones in while Camila still had her hands on Lauren's thigh and rubbing it with her thumb lightly.

Once the girls got to the hotel they went to they're rooms. Dinah and Normani sharing so they could blast Beyoncé, Ally sharing with one of the workers who follows them around on they're trips, Lauren and Camila shared a room too.

Camila was changing in the bathroom getting ready to go to bed and Lauren was on the bed waiting patiently for her to get out so she could also change.
"Camz hurry!" She yelled because of the amount of time she was taking.
"I'm almost done!" She yelled back.
After what felt like an eternity she finally came out with a big over sized t-shirt and red booty shorts showing her tan legs, her hair was up in a messy bun which had Lauren almost drooling at the sight of the girls standing in front of her.

"Stop staring and go change!" Camila told her.
"It's not my fault your making it hard not to stare." Lauren complains.
"Hurry up so we can cuddle." Camila whines and gives Lauren a peck on the lips.

"Fine but don't fall asleep on me please you always fall asleep fast!" Lauren continues to complain.
"I won't I promise just hurry please?" Camila asks annoyed.
"Okay okay." Lauren says as she enters the bathroom.

When Lauren is finished changing she find a peaceful sleeping Camila on her bed. She crawls over on the bed making sure to be as quiet as possible to not wake up the girl next to her.

She stares at her for a good five minutes rubbing her lips and cheek softly.
"Your special to me. You make me happy. Your always there for me when I need and I just can't imagine a world without you Camz." Lauren whispers quietly to the girl she's staring at.

"When I'm with you I get all these butterflies and when you kiss me my lips feel as if they're on fire." She adds

"Goodnight babe sweet dreams." She finally finishes and gives her a quick peck on the lips before turning the lights off and wrapping her arm around the smaller girls' waist. She rest her head on her chest while staring in the darkness, thinking.

"I think I'm in love with her." Lauren thinks to herself.
