Saffron's P.O.V

I then elevated upstairs and was about to go inside my room when I saw Liam watching television. And yes, there's also a telly up here. His boring hazel brown eyes met mine before he raised an eyebrow.

" So, who's that? I thought... you're father- " Liam started but I cut him off. Maybe he's wondering why Nathan was down there. Basically because I told him that my family doesn't care about me anymore.

" He just wants me safe. " I carelessly said. Does he wants me safe though? "... I guess. " I added in, shrugging my shoulders. I brought my face down, few strand of hairs falling on my shoulder.

" Ofcourse he wants you safe, Saffy Bear. " I looked up at him, smiling at the adorableness of the nickname he gave me. Maybe I should get used with him calling me that.

" Anyways, I'll just change my clothes. See you later, Daddy. " I joked, shaking my head and walking infront of my bedroom door. Before opening it, my eyes went back to him.

" Okay. Keep safe. Lock the door after you leave. " he said in a serious tone, his eyes going back to the television.

I hummed in response instead and went to my room. Taking my worn out brown bag from the floor and opend the zipper before grabbing a thin sweater. It's all I need. I put the clothing on my head and pulled it down before going to the bathroom. After singing two Happy Birthdays, I went back to my room and took everything I needed.

" Ready to go? " Nathan asked, fixing and flattening his white polo as he stood up.

" Uhh, yes. " I said. Putting my feet in my white gladiators as we stepped outside, locking the door behind me.

As we walked together to the way outside, I looked at the place curiously. Actually, it's quite peaceful here. Like no one really lives here. But my eyes travelled to the house not so far away from Liam's. There's a black Lancer parked on the drive way. I was a bit shocked when I saw the main door open and came outside a guy wearing an orange sweater/jacket. He's not that thin, but neither fat. With ginger hair and pale face. A lighted cigarette in between his pointer and middle finger. He was approaching his car when his eyes instantly met mine, a weird look on his face; like he had seen me before or something. I immediately broke eye contact and went back to walking. I felt his sharp eyes on me as my walking speed became faster.

" Uhh, Saff? I don't see any dog running after you? " Nathan half-joked, picking up my speed.

" Just make it fast. " I replied. The wind slapping my face as I hugged my self. Yes it's morning, but I do think it will rain...or snow. Winter's near, I guess. The sky's pretty dark actually.

After we got out of the hidden territory, Nathan raised his hand as he hail a cab. We got lucky because we seen one. I immediately opened the car door and pushed my self inside, locking my seatbelt. I saw Nathan giving me a weird look; probably because I look like someone's after me or something. I'm pretty much bugged because I have a feeling that the ginger guy back there might...follow me. I don't really know.

" What's with the rush, sis? " Nathan's voice made me jump a bit as he speak.

" It's uhhh, n-nothing. " I smiled to reassure him, but I guess he isn't convinced at all. I'm not really good at lying or covering up. Maybe I should work on that.

I took a peek if anyone's following behind the cab using the mirror beside. I let out a sigh of relief when I see nothing.

" Saff... " a deep voice whispered in my ear, shaking me lightly. I groaned, not moving even an inch.

" Saff... "

" SAAAAAAAAAAFFFF! " It screamed in my ear, causing me to jump and scream back. I probably looked like a freak. I saw the cab driver biting the inner part of his mouth as he tried to cover up a smile. I just realized that I fell asleep during the car ride.

" WHAT THE F*CK IS WRONG WITH YOU?! " I screamed-whispered to Nathan as I held my hand to my chest. My heart beating out of my torso.

Nathan shrugged his shoulders as if it isn't a biggie. " Well we're here. "

I swore under my breath as I grabbed my wallet to pay when Nathan interrupted me. " I paid already. Now let's go. " he said stepping out. The smile on his face reached up to his ear when he tried not laugh, still not recovering from my 'momentum'.

I pushed the car door open as I stepped out, taking in the scenery. I think we're at the outskirts of Holmes Chapel. There are buildings, coffee shops, maybe a mall somewhere. The typical.But not seeing a condominium in sight.

" Where's the cond-" I was about to ask Nathan when he held a hand on my lips.

" Behind you. " he giggled, yes giggled, as he pulled his finger away from my mouth. I faced back when a... probably 20 floored-tower stand before me. Maybe I was facing the street a few minutes ago. Stupid me.

" Oh. " I breathed out, blushing at my stupidity.

" Leggo! " Nathan said smoothly, grabbing me by the arm. I took a quick look on the sign board, catching only the letters written in red,

My eyes widened, it isn't what I'm thinking right? It's just my good ol' green mind. When we got in, artificial cold air hit my body, it smells... decent though, thankfully. Things here look expensive. Like everything is made out of gold, well maybe not exactly gold. Nathan and me approached the counter, I letting out a breath of relief again when I read the name of the building fully.

Hard Compound Hotel.

Too cliche for a tower name. But wait, I  said condominium, not hotel! Especially an expensive one! I was about to complain but rolled my eyes when I see Nathan booking a room for me already.

" 36 pounds per night, with free room service, also free breakfast and dinner. " The girl on the counter, named 'Rosie' said. Wait, she looks familiar. She sounds familiar too.

" Oh my God, Rosie is that you?! " I whispered, but loud enough for her to hear. Rosie, Nathan's girlfriend.

" Shh! Yes it's me. But keep quite and just pretend that we don't know each other because I will get warnings. " she whispered back. So now I know why Nathan brought me here.

" But don't you think it's too..expensive? I mean it's just me, myself, and I. " I said, facing Nathan as he give Rosie his credit card.

" Precisely! There's three of you! " he smiled, it sounds corny but I giggled anyways. There's no point of fighting back.

"Seriously bro, I'm fine with a simple condo-" I said, but ofcourse, Nathan cut me.

" I booked you in for 3 months. Consider your self lucky. I'll be with you on the way to Liam's house but I'll leave immediately. I'll just ask Liam if he could help you with your stuffs. " he explained, taking my hand and dragging me outside, hailing a cab home.
