Double Life

Guilt

The moon hung high in the sky, the night was clear and warm. He sat in his chair enjoying the night, as he listened to his family laughing and talking. He leaned back sighing happily, in this moment he had everything he ever wanted! Finally things were going great for them, no more crappy bad luck that for so long had plagued his family! As he was lost in his thoughts he felt someone take his hand, he turned smiling and saw it was his husband. His husband was in the middle of telling a story, so he didn't see the smile. He decided to take this time to really watch his loved ones. First there was his husband Seth Rollins; they had started off as best friends, but their feelings quickly and without either man realizing it turned into a deep love. Being in love was completely new to him, having never let anyone into his heart before, his bed yeah, but not his heart! Even though being in love scared the crap out of him, he didn't regret a second of giving his heart to Seth completely! Moving on there was Roman Reigns; he and Seth's best friend...brother! Roman was his backbone, his strength, the voice of reason. He was also the only other person, besides Seth he truly loved and trusted completely. Then there was his pride and joy, the reasons he fought so hard everyday, he and Seth's three beautiful adopted children; four year old twins Oliver and Olivia and 11 month old Madlyne. Next were the two sweetest, kindest people in the world, Eddie and Will White; the couple had started off as complete strangers, but quickly became like a mother and father to the three men, and he loved both of them deeply. Finishing off his family was his father Robert; he had just reconnected with Robert after years of being separated because of Robert being in prison. Their relationship was shaky, and he wasn't able to forgive Robert for all the horrible things he had done to him as a child, which made him close his heart to Robert, but they were slowly getting to know each other.

He was pulled out of his thoughts when he felt Seth squeeze his hand, before he leaned on him, he turned to him smiling as Seth spoke.

"You okay Dean?" He asked quietly.

"Yeah baby boy, I'm great!" Dean answered truthfully as he kissed Seth. "I love you."

"I love you too babe." Seth said smiling before he turned back to the conversation.

Dean sighed again, as he listened to his family laughing at a story Will told and he smiled. He was truly happy and loved, life wasn't perfect, but to Dean Ambrose it was!

**Days Later**:

The days past and things were still going great, Dean began changing into his ring gear, getting ready for Smackdown. As he did he began singing quietly to himself, he had just gotten off the phone with Robert letting him know when they'd be back home and made plans for him to come to the house for dinner. Even though it had been three months since he first reconnected with Robert, Dean still didn't feel comfortable being alone with him. So, he always had one of his loved ones with him, no one complained or judged though; not even Robert, all of them were just glad he was giving it a try. He had just finished getting ready when Seth and Roman; both already changed returned to the room. He smiled at them before he began doing the little shoulder dance he always does, Seth and Roman looked at each other smiling before back to their dancing Lunatic!

"You're in a good mood babe!" Seth said smiling.

"I' am! Do you two realize it's been almost a year since we had any bullshit happen?" Dean asked smiling.

"A year? Seriously dude?" Roman asked.

"Yep! An entire bullshit free year! I think this calls for a celebration, don't you my brothers?" Dean asked as he wrapped an arm around both their shoulders.

"Agreed! Tomorrow we celebrate by going out to dinner before work!" Roman said smiling.

"Alright, that's tomorrow! Tonight we have a match against the Uso's and Ryback!" Seth reminded them, before he pulled Dean in for a kiss, then hugged Roman.

"Let's do this boys!" Roman said hugging Dean, before he put his fist out for their usual salute, Dean and Seth's fists soon joined his.

"Believe in The Shield!" All the three men said together, before they left the room.

Meanwhile, Robert paced his living room biting his nails, his guilt ripping him apart; especially after hearing the happiness in Dean's voice when they talked on the phone a few minutes earlier making plans to get together when they were back in town. He loved Dean more than anything in the world, and so him living a double life killed him! What made it worse, was the fact that Dean, Seth, Roman, Eddie and Will had welcomed him so openly into their family. He hid the fact that he was still addicted to drugs, and his dealer was a man named Fox Walker, who he had met in prison. Fox had gotten out a month before him and once he got out he went straight to Fox and got high! He had gotten good at keeping Fox a secret and separate from Dean and the others, except for the night he had finally connected with Dean and Fox called demanding the money he owed him almost getting him caught. Having no job and given the ultimatum pay or Dean gets hurt, Robert stole $1000.00 from Seth, he had planned on doing it just that once and eventually repay them. Three months later, Robert now had a job, but it didn't pay enough to cover his habit, so he continued stealing from Dean and Seth with no one knowing. He just hoped he'd be able to keep his secret life hidden from everyone; especially Dean, until he was able to get clean once and for all!
