SEQUEL TO A MAFIA BOSS'S SHADOW

After the intense experience with a demonic shadow creature, Luca hasn't been able to really think correctly. There have been times when he could feel himself move and do things that he himself wouldn't normally do. His expressions wouldn't be as bright as they usually were, and his speech would become a bit slower with vocal tones as deep as possibly Vox. It was confusing him, and scarring him all at the same time. He wasn't sure what to do about it and because of his fears he had been debating about going home. He really didn't want to worry the other members, so he lied to them and said that he had a job to do farther away. But the truth was that he had gone to his other home and had been hiding there since. His phone's been on silent, and he's ordered his other members of the mafia to leave him alone. Despite having sent everyone away, he just wanted someone to stay. He secretly would wish that someone would stay by him to tell him it was all okay.

But no one can tell him anything—after all no one knows what's going on.
Luca sits on his own on his balcony in his bedroom with an Augustus plush in his lap as his chin rests on top. He stares at the wall before him as he feels his eyesight blur for a moment. He blinks and clears his vision, but everything he does something in him gets heated. Something in his heart. He sighs and buries his face into his plushy.

"What's going on with me...?"

He sets his plushy aside and goes into the bathroom. He turns the water on and rinses off his face, but the moment he lifts his head to look into the mirror he flinched and takes a step back upon seeing his own reflection. In the mirror his reflection was different, it wasn't him—but it was him at the same time. His eyes were a bright shade of gold, and his hair was black instead of blonde. His clothes were darker, and his expression a lot more serious than normal.

"W-what's going on...? What is this....?"

As if answering his question, his own mouth speaks with a deeper tone.

"You've been trying to ignore that fact that I'm here. It's fair since I've only just been born."

He covers his mouth and steps further back against the wall. As a mafia boss he has seen his fair share of darkness, and fair share of hellish things. But there was just something about this that just made his skin crawl in a way that screamed terror. Just who or what is this? Another shadow? Another possession or something else? His mind was racing, but it was racing in a way that allowed his thoughts to organize and not be all over the place. He speaks out loud to himself with his hand to his chin as he tries to calm himself with a bit of logic.

"Okay clearly not a shadow. Not a demon. Not anything that is exactly harmful to me that is....opposite colors. Opposite attitude. Very serious and seems to be something inside of me..."

"You're on the right track, but you're taking too long to figure it out.." The deeper voice says out loud. He covers his mouth again and turns to the reflection in the mirror.

'Let me take a control for a moment then,'

"Take control...?"

'I won't hurt anyone unless someone else decides to hurt us.'

"Us?"

'You're not too smart are you? That's fine. But I'll be taking over now and you won't be able to say no. Maybe, by doing this you'll realize what I am.'

"Huh?! W-wait-!"

His voice sinks as his vision blackens.

At home Shu sits a bit worried with the fact that Luca hasn't even contacted him or anything. Their relationship hasn't fully been conformed, but the feelings he ft before were so real. So genuine, and he was sure that Luca was the same. If that was the case then why was he choosing to not only avoid him, but also avoid the others. He said he was going away for a job, but he could tell that something was wrong. But he had vanished like a true boss before he could get the chance to ask him anything.
