"Just because I haven't said anything
Doesn't mean I don't care"
~"Are you stupid? I'm not doing it!" Yeonjun exclaimed.
"Why would you even question it? He is stupid," Taehyun said. "But he's right this time."
"See? Even Taehyun agrees. Just try it!" Beomgyu pleaded.
"It's a good stress reliever," Taehyun shrugged.
"Does it look like I'm flexible?" Yeonjun complained, scrunching up his nose.
"How will you know if you haven't even tried it?" Beomgyu whined. "Just once! You might really enjoy it."
"It's humiliating," Yeonjun said.
"How?" Beomgyu said exasperated at his friend's behaviour.
"Yoga isn't for everyone Beomgyu."
"You haven't even tried!"
The bickering wouldn't stop, and it ended with Beomgyu and Taehyun forcing a struggling Yeonjun into the 'Yoga Class for Beginners' room. He glared at Beomgyu who shrugged innocently. The three friends were spread out, about a metre away from each other. Yeonjun didn't want to create a scene here, but he knew the second they left, he would strangle Beomgyu. He sat on his mat and decided he wouldn't participate.
"Yeonjun please get up," Beomgyu begged. "I'll buy you lunch afterwards!"
Lunch was tempting, but Yeonjun wouldn't budge.
"Okay class, this is the first lesson of the course. There will be classes twice a week and I will be your instructor." The voice of this instructor sounded oddly familiar.
"My name is San."
Yeonjun looked up in surprise.
"I may look young, but I've been doing yoga for the past 4 years. I work at this sports centre part time, so I hope to see some of you around." His smile was charming. Now it made sense why Beomgyu was able to enrol the three of them in a yoga class last minute.
"Get up, don't embarrass yourself," a voice said from behind him. Yeonjun turned and came face to face with Wooyoung's unreadable expression.
At the mere sight of the boy, Yeonjun's stomach felt queasy. He hadn't seen Wooyoung since the day he said all those things to him in the car. It terrified him how calm Wooyoung was. Yeonjun did as he was told and stood up, facing Wooyoung.
"What are you doing here?" Wooyoung asked, knowing Yeonjun would never come here willingly.
Yeonjun didn't trust his voice, so he said nothing. He pointed at Beomgyu who looked just as surprised by Wooyoung's presence.
"Follow me," Wooyoung started walking away and Yeonjun looked from Wooyoung to Beomgyu, conflicted as to whether not to obey. Wooyoung turned back and saw Yeonjun hadn't moved. "Hurry up."
Yeonjun quickly caught up with Wooyoung and followed him out of the room. They silently walked through the sports centre until they arrived near a room that smelt like chemicals.
"This suits you better," Wooyoung said, pushing Yeonjun into the locker rooms.
"What are you talking about?" Yeonjun asked in confusion. Wooyoung rummaged through one of the lockers, then tossed a pair of trunks to Yeonjun.
"Swimming. You can keep those," Wooyoung said, pushing Yeonjun into stall to change.
Yeonjun blinked, more confused than ever. He looked at the shorts and then the closed door. He sighed and changed, knowing that he would much rather be swimming than doing yoga poses. When he was done, he emerged and silently followed Wooyoung to the pool.
