They told me not to fly... they told me that I might die... they told me that I might never wake up from Cryosleep, and yet I paid a lot of money and signed the consent form that my body could be incinerated and the ashes scattered in space if I died.

Why had she come at all if she didn't really want to?

Why did she want to forbid me to bond myself with my Avatar just because she had overslept?

Why had she sold all her belongings when she was just sitting there drawing plants?

I wanted to explore this world, I wanted to climb the tall trees that didn't exist on earth, and that's exactly what I ended up doing after two weeks. Yes, I ignored them... I ran, I climbed and yes... I fell. I fell deep and hard. However, I also saved a life and was invited back.

I came back... I made friends, and I earned a place inside the clan....

They took me on the journey to the mountains and the Mountain Banshees (Ikran....) I was incredibly nervous, but I loved it from the first moment.... I loved the feeling of absolute freedom, and the way the wind blew through my hair....

I fell in love with this world... I fell in love with the beauty of the world, and I fell in love... with her. She was the second daughter of the clan leaders and an absolute taboo for me. She was forbidden for me... I was not supposed to look at her... I should stay away from her, they told me... but I couldn't.

We talked a lot... we laughed and flew together.... sometimes I forgot about my ex, my body and everything... however, I became aware of it all when I was separated from my avatar at a dizzying height....

I asked for everything I cared about like nothing and no one ever had before, and finally faced death again.... one last time I would do something stupid and life-threatening....

I opened my eyes, looked at her, and said: "Oel ngati kameie." she repeated the words and I found what I had been looking for in her eyes for so long....
