It all started with a text
Beginning to end wondering what's next
Notes and sweet good morning texts we had it all
Why did it all have to fall?
Emotional numbness with disproportionate devastation
Shook the very fabric of what we so strongly grew
Who knew?
Begged to be kids again with fear in her eyes
Our love defys
Dedicated to you and a plan
But you jumped to another man
They say time heals
Yet I'm struggling with meals
And you enjoyed it all with no guilt
After everything we built
Why was it so easy overnight and a pipe
Now mentally repaired I begin my journey with someone else
Let's hope this all melts
Memory's won't fade but every last detail will
And im hopeful yet pale
