Connor tried so hard to make Brad like him. He tried to be just like him. Everything from the way he dressed to what music he listened to had changed. Connor ripped all of his jeans, which caused a huge argument with his mother, who bought them all. And then Connor got a tattoo that looked just like Brad's, which made his mother slap him across the face. Hard.

"Why do you follow Brad everywhere, Con?" asked his friend Tristan. "You're like a toddler, following their mum around."

"I just..." Connor couldn't finish the sentence. He didn't really know himself.

"Con? Are you... gay?" Tris asked. Connor bent his head. "Look - it's ok! You know I'm with James Perfect McVey."

"I'm not gay. I'm not straight. I'm not bi. I'm Bradleysexual," Connor said sighing. And he knew that would never happen. Then he saw Brad walking into the music store. Connor forgot about Tristan and walked after him. He watched Brad carefully look at each of the albums, treating them with strange respect. Connor found this so cute, as he loved music too. But then Brad turned around, to see Connor, dressed just like him, staring at him.

"Are you following me? That's so creepy," Brad said and walked out, not giving Connor a chance to speak.

"Nice one Con! The first time your crush speaks to you, they call you a creep," Tristan said, putting his arm around Connor's shoulders. A month went by with Connor doing everything he could to make Brad notice him. Still, it didn't work.

"Connor, you're up," said Mr Hemmings. It was the school show and Connor had to perform in it. He sat on a stool on the stage, with his guitar and opened his mouth, singing a song he had written about his feelings for Brad. And when he had finished, everyone was clapping and cheering. It was the best moment of Connor's life. He stood there, raining in the pride. He looked in the front row, to see if Tris was there. In front of him was Brad, cheering louder than anyone else. He turned to walk back off stage. And said,

"And that song was about Bradley Simpson."
