In Osaku's intent to get her revenge, she went back home, and when her mother wasn't home, she started designing a suit. A black and purple, samurai suit, and she also stole her mother's katana, it is a family air loom past on through generations of the Sosaki family ever since the Feudal era in Japan.
Osaku is an expert in all kinds of martial arts, so protecting herself wasn't such a problem. The problem was, she didn't even know where to start about her dad's murder. Until Osaku heard her father's name on the TV. She turned up the volume and saw that her father's murder was in the news, several cameras caught someone in a black suit, the police identified him as the Dark Killer. He is a vigilante that has been killing people such as murderers, aggressors, gang members, etc.
That's were Osaku started looking, she took a look into her father's company, and she figured out that they were involved with some really bad people, which Lou had no idea of, obviously.
Weeks flew by, but Osaku couldn't find anything concrete connecting the company, to the people who inadvertently caused the death of Lou. Osaku saw that it would be hard, so she started by looking more into the Dark Killer. Luckily she found something, an address, she found it by retracing in what direction he goes after a murder. They all lead to one place, which Osaku went to.
There was no one home, so she waited in the dark. Then she heard the door opening, Osaku grabbed the person and put her katana to their neck. Afterwards, she said in a threatening voice, "Don't you dare scream, because I swear, I will kill you, right here, right now." Osaku slowly closed the door and then said, "Are you the Dark Killer?"
The person easily took control of the katana, and of Osaku. Next the person tuned on the lights, and said, "No, I'm not the Dark Killer, and who the hell are you, and what the hell are you doing in my house?" To that Osaku explained what had happened, and that she was looking for whoever killed her father. The woman understood, and dropped the katana, then she explained herself.
