"Canary,faster!"SkyRaid shouted over engine roar and blaring wind. SkyRaid and Canary were being pursued by a trine of decepticon seekers with heavy ammo,this little chase had gone on for quite a while now and the poor little yellow and blue autobot seeker's jets were almost fried red. "Sky,i cant,your going to have to leave me behind."Canary's voice barley audible as the small jet sputtered farther behind,almost in reach of the decepticon's firing range.
"I could make a distraction and you could give it your all and make it as far as you can."Canary shouted,jet trail flickering behind him as he lowered slightly. SkyRaid swerved down under Canary suddenly. "Shut the fuck up right now,your too damn important to me to just be left to decepticon scum." SkyRaid snapped,noticing the quickly approaching decepticon's. "Transform,ill carry the both of us into the clouds and cloak us until they leave" The large jet said hastily shifting to allow space for Canary to hitch a ride.
Canary stalled a moment then shifted,stumbling into the pilot seat of SkyRaid. "Are you sure you can handle hiding the both of us? Your energon is getting low-" Canary was pushed back into the seat as SkyRaid launched straight up into a plume of clouds. "I'm going to have to." SkyRaid growled, twisting in the air before cloaking him and Canary. The decepticon's circled below and above them but ultimately left,not being able to detect either of the bots.
Once the area was clear SkyRaid uncloaked and dipped for the closest rural shelter. The two landed roughly but no one would be able to detect them out in such a deserted area. They landed by a odd scrap structure that was fairly large,most likely built by a scavenger who abandoned the place. About four large metal plates were leaned against each other leaving an open door way that had a holy scarlet red cloth draped over it. "Ah,such a residency eh little bird?" SkyRaid chuckled,transforming as Canary weakly edged around the structure. "Its nice for now." Canary piped up,entering the mostly empty structure. Sand was well taking over the building,it was completely empty aside from a stash of sand covered energon vials and a few broken data-pads. "Nice"Canary picked up two energon vials and handed one to SkyRaid who lay exhausted on the floor. "someone abandoned some quality energon here,i'm glad though" Canary smiled,finding a glass and pouring it out of the vial. SkyRaid simply drank it straight from the vial. "its pretty cool in here,are your burners less...hot?"SkyRaid questioned,glancing at Canary's pedes with slight worry. "Eh,still burning,but its going down."
"I'm just not used to long high speed flights..." Canary wrapped his arms around his knees with a sigh,vents whirring gently enough for SkyRaid to hear.
"You weren't built for it,we can stay here as long as you need my songbird."the large gunmetal and red mech inched closer to canary with a faint smile. "You wont get bored will you?" Canary looked up at skyraid with slight worry for his sparkmate,an eye flickering blue and yellow. "Never,as long as were together." Skyraod pressed his face to canary's softly. Canary pulled away smiling warmly. "Thank you." Skyraid pulled the small jet closer to him,his wings pulled down so he could lean back. "You know I love you right?" Skyraid asked,tipping his head down to catch the corner of canary's eye. Canary hummed for a moment,feathers twitching thoughtfully. "Nope!"
Skyraid paused,looking at the blue and yellow starry eyes mech. Canary smirked,tossing his head back with a laugh of sweetness. "Your so gullible,of course I do!"
Skyraid smiled,cuddling close to canary. They would spend a long night there before returning to kaon to get some REAL energon,where livewire would question their absence.
