𝐏𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐟𝐮𝐥

The spoon dropped from Baekhyun's hand was caught by Chanyeol , who sheepingly gave it to him . They both saw each other but thinking what to say to her . Baek knew his wife was not someone who would casually shrugged the topic off, instead she will ramble , so he let out a sigh and saw towards both the girls seeing him with curious eyes . He sighed and told ,
"Father died."

As soon as these words left his mouth , a gasp left her mouth , she did not what to say , her father died , she admired him so much . A sob escaped her eyes.  Chanyeol took the little kid in his arms and strode towards the door to provide them the privacy . Baekhyun hugged her , Hera cried loudly .  She asked ,
"How it happened?"

Flashback

When the gun was shot , the bullet did not hit Hera , instead Brian and his men were hit , Hera was unconscious, as she was traumized by the incident . Before Baekhyun could react , another gunshot was heard which went into his father's heart . He looked up to see Chen , with fierce eyes , he wanted to do something but he was too weak to do that .
"Jongdae , don't do that , it's no use , he is our father , let's stay in peace ."
"Keep that shit of suggestion to yourself , this man always looked down upon me , no matter how much I tried to prove myself , you all know I was going to be the main mafia king , but this man snatched everything , he even killed our mother and you still love him you fool?"
"What did you just say ?"
"I am right, that's the reason I hate this man , in route of gaining power , our mother was also as a obstruction so he killed her mercilessly though he asked forgiveness , but I will never . That's why I aimed for Hera not because I love her cause I wanted to show the old man and you the real taste of PAIN ."
"Why don't I know about this ? Please Chen let's live together . Hmm.  I am sorry ."
"I can't , Byun Baekhyun , I am sorry . The old man is not only guilty , Hera is in this situation because of me , I will never forgive myself . You better go home ."

Hera could not believe her ears , Chen had went through this much and felt pity for him . She once engulfed Baekhyun tightly and kissed him . Baekhyun too responded to the kiss.  The kiss was sweet and expressed their true love . They both pulled away and fixing themselves up , they went to see their daughter sleeping with her uncle , with his arms engulfed around her in a protective manner . They both chuckled and took a picture of them .

Hera was cooking dinner thinking about their journey , of how far they have come with their life . The memories were sweet , sour and sometimes they went through the worst part where she lost hope , but eventually things became better and here she is with her small family , living peacefully . She sometimes regret to leave his love of life . She may lie if she tells that she had not cried , on receiving letters from Baekhyun .

Flashback
Hera woke up in a room , dimly light . She looked around her environment and found herself in her room laying . She tried to wake up , but a pain stroke on her back avoided her to do so . Then the sudden memories flashed in her mind causing her to bring her legs to herself and hiding herself . She was so afraid , especially about the life growing inside her and there she took the decision which she did not even thought of .

Baekhyun entered and saw his wife's horrible condition and went near her . The smell of blood in his hands caused her to shuffle back . She did not known it was her blood which laced his hands . She thought of running away from there and before Baekhyun could touch her . She took the knife to protect her . All she could see was her child and nothing else . Baekhyun, confused by her gesture , but the words which came out of her mouth left him in bewilderment .

"Please let me go , Baekhyun , I feel so suffocated here , it feels like I can die anytime . Just give me some time to find myself . I promise I will return ."

She said while holding his hands . Baekhyun did not know how to react but he cannot see his wife fragile and afraid . So for her sake he took that decision which he knew would make him a loser but he can't do anything.  Like that he sent his reason of living away , his light , the thing which he cherished walked out of his life.

"What are you thinking , love?"
The sudden voice brought her to reality , and she saw a loving Baekhyun , admiring her . She went and hugged him tightly . He chuckled and hugged her tightly while living a light kiss on her forehead .

"If you thinking about the past , then please don't , I am not angry, Hera , I understand you , I am just thankful for both my angels back . Just please don't leave me again ."

The last sentence brought tears in her eyes and she kissed him passionately , pouring all her love , passion which she had for him . They both broke the kiss and she said ,
"I will never leave you Byun Baekhyun , cause you are my missing puzzle piece."
