Its been a week since I found the radio.Unlike usual,I didn't wake up by myself today,But by loud sounds,I quickly left my tent to see what seemed to be 100 birds migrating to the south except it wasn't birds
It was helicopters that had the word "Washington" written across the body of the flying vehicles.I heard cheers that were even louder than the vehicles themselves.
Some landed and Blew some pegs from tents while some ruined women's hair. The let out about 20 people per trip and returned to the south to pick up more people. At the exact same time,So many familiar faces came with the buses.Including my mother and father who I hadn't seen in nearly 2 months.I saw Somi and his family,Charlie,Schmitt,Rich,Oliver, and even Reegan. It was like a fever dream,All of these things were happening so fast I couldn't even comprehend what I was happening all at once.
We greeted each other and set up more tents,Now we had about 25,000 tents set up.In a day we'll have the entire district migrated to India. It was a great accomplishment that happened way too fast for me to ever notice.I was too focused on the camp in India to even think about how we were doing back at home.
I smiled as I tumbled into Charlie, who held a grin on his face as he stopped my head from hitting him. "Nice to see ya,Compass." I hadn't been called by that name in forever.
"Welcome back Charlie."
"How have you been.""I killed an ape and found contact with the Washington."
"You offed an ape?!"My hands turned cold again as I imagined the scolding I would receive from my parents if they heard I had access to a shotgun and worse,Used it.
"Yes,I did.It attacked us."
"Compass,Good job on that."
Charlie then walked away as that was the way he ended the talk.Being remembered for killing an attack force might not be so bad after all.I put on a serious face and turned to the sky to watch the 'copters across the sky.In the afternoon,The governors and I had a well cooked meal as we regained connections and shared the news of the South.Rich spoke first at the small space in his tent we were meeting in."We have have a smoke cloud rolling in overhead,It's making our days and nights darker. We might be in full blackout in a month. If it hits us,There will be a lot of coughing."Charlie shook his cup of champagne and replied. "We're getting stuff packed up very quickly,I suppose tomorrow will be the last god-forsaken time that any of us would have to stay in Antarctica." "Well done."Somi beamed. "Lets start loading the luggage buses next week.Landon." All of the governors turned to me. "Updates,Please." My brain zipped back to the times I had in the new camp. "There seems to be increased animal habitats nearby,With..."I paused to let the words sink in to make sure the governors were listening. "Attacking animals,We need them gone." Charlie continued. "Since we're almost done with migration,We will export about 10 more pumps and 180 more slugs(Shells) before next week." Somi added.Somi then peeked out of the tent and eyes the dark sky above the tent.He then put his head back inside. "Are your folks alright with you sleeping here?I don't recommend you going out there at night." Oliver questioned. "They won't mind,I'll be up early to help pack luggage,It won't be a problem." I then found a place to sleep inside the tent. "G'night sirs."

I've been working on hauling luggage for quite a while now,I carry people's bags and personal items into buses strictly for luggage and Items we didn't want to hold in the bus.I finished off dropping a heavy box into bus 25.I wiped the sweat off my forehead and turned around to see another pile of luggage,It was going to be a while before I could even think about the word "Freetime''. Come to think of it,I have been hard at work ever since the Washington's copters assisted us.I have been working for about 6 hours a day for a well cooked meal every night instead of food we hunted and heated.I was carrying a box when I tripped and dropped it on the ground,It was full of leaves and insects that now scattered before my eyes.I found it greatly unusual for someone to have such things in their luggage box.But thats when I noticed something. This is food for Herbivores that happened to be Animals.I felt like ratting this traitor out to the entire camp but then I remembered what happened when I did that to Schmitt,Now that everyone knows where the buses are,They'll want to make a run for it and waste our supply of buses.I returned back to my tent in the evening and noticed someone had a shovel hunched over they're back as they headed back to their tent.Something was up.
