It was a cold fall night, ruby snuck out her window like she does every night, she walked to her car, holding her car keys, she opened her car door and sat down, she shut it behind her, she put her hair in a ponytail, she buckled and started the car. She pulled out of her driveway and drove down the rode

Ruby had two different color eyes, she was different from her friends, or she thought was her friends. "Just one more day until i get the interview" she said to herself. She was planning to get a job at a business building down the road from her school.

She rolled down the window as the wind blew in her face, she always liked the feeling of it in her face, she kept driving down the road, calming herself down. She began to turn around as she had a long enough drive and began to get tired. She drove home and pulled into the driveway, she turned her car off and got out, she walked to her window and noticed it was locked, she was confused, she walked to the front door and opened it with her key, it was dark her parents must of went to bed. She quickly and quietly walked to her room, she opened her door and saw someone in her bed, she began to panic, who was in her bed?! Why where they in her bed. She began to run to her parents room "mom! Dad!" She shouted, the parents looked at ruby, confused "who are you and what are you doing in our house!" The mom shouted

Ruby was confused, this was her house and those where her parents, where they?

"Leave before I call the police!" The mother shouted again. Ruby ran outside, shaking, "what is going on?" She thought

She got back to her car and began to drive to the police station, she got out and it began to rain, she threw her hood on and ran inside to the police station, she got to the front desk "I need help!" She said, the guy at the front desk looked at her, confused and concerned "about what ma'am?" He asked. "My parents, t-they don't know who I am!" Ruby said, the man was concerned "what do you mean?" He asked, ruby was shaking "someone was in my bed and I went to tell my parents and they acted like they didn't know me!" Ruby said. The officer looked down at the computer "name and birth date?" He asked. "Ruby Thompson, September 13th, 2003" She said. The officer typed into the computer then looked at ruby "is this some type of joke?" The officer asked. Ruby looked confused "what do you mean?" She asked

"Your name isn't in the database" the officer said,Ruby looked shock and scared "o-oh...um, okay.." she said. "I'll just, go" she said, she ran out of the police station. She was outside and began to cry "what the fuck is going on?!" She said. "You lost also?" A unknown voice said, she looked up and saw a guy around her age with his hood on, he had an eye patch on and a white hood "you went home and someone was in your bed, so you came here" he said. She nodded "yeah" Ruby said. The person smiled "thought so, let me guess, went on a drive in the dark?" He asked. Ruby looked confused "y-yeah" she said. The guy smirked "thought so, happened to me and my friends, name is mark" he said. "Ruby.." she said. "How about you come with me, I can take you to my home" he said. "But..what about my car?" Ruby asked. "We can take my car" ruby said. Mark looked at rubys car and nodded "okay, we can use your Car" he said. Ruby nodded and got into the car, mark got in on the passenger seat. The two buckled up and ruby started the car. She pulled out and went to the location mark told her.

She pulled into the drive way of the small home "is this it?" She asked, mark nodded "yep". Ruby stopped the car and the two got out. "Follow me!" Mark said. He began walking to the front door and ruby behind him. He opened the door "guys! We have some new company!" Mark said. Two girls looked over, one with long dark brown hair, dark skin and brown eyes, the other one with tan skin, blonde and brown hair and dark green eyes with glasses. "Ruby, I want you to meet my friends destiny and Lizzy" mark said. The two waved "hello ruby!" Lizzy said. "Hello destiny, hello Lizzy" Ruby said. "Ruby is just like us, she was driving down the road and ended up here" mark said. "How did this even happen?" Ruby asked. Destiny shrugged "we just ended up here" she said. Ruby walked over and sat down with them.

Mark sat down with the others "...how do we leave?" Ruby asked "there has to be a way? Right?" Ruby asked again. Everyone went silent
