Illusion Or A Glitch

Chapter 2: The Trouble Starts Here

It was the next morning and you were still as sleepy as a koala because you didn't sleep until 4 am last night. You were just imagining what that creature could be. You were thinking of playing that game again today to see if that thing would still be there.
Good thing it was Sunday today so you had the whole day to investigate this mystery. You got out of bed and quickly washed your face so then you can wear your comfy clothes for today and continue playing.

"Alright I'm ready!" You opened the game once more after that weird experience you had yesterday.
"Why am I doing this.." You said to yourself as you restarted the whole game to see if the creature would still be there. You finished the first level once again and when you returned to the menu, your jaw completely dropped.

It started waving at you, you were able to see its whole figure this time and it was much more scarier than when you saw half of it last time. It wasn't necessarily scary, it scared you because of how uncomfortable it made you feel. Now that you got a better look at this thing you can properly tell the game store owners about what happened. It looked like the creature is actually a yellow-ish brown rabbit costume for a children's birthday restaurant. It made sense since fnaf is technically about animal based animatronics that are from a children's birthday pizzeria. Not only that but the animatronics are haunted by some of the kids that got killed by the owner of the pizzeria. That's not real though, it's just the lore of the video game. Y̶O̶U̶ W̶I̶L̶L̶ R̶E̶G̶R̶E̶T̶ T̶H̶I̶N̶K̶I̶N̶G̶ T̶H̶A̶T̶ S̶O̶O̶N̶ T̶H̶O̶U̶G̶H̶.

The rabbit costume also had a purple vest with pink stars and a purple bow tie. It's face was formed by big glowing purple eyes with long eyelashes and a huge smile across its face. That smile looked more murderous than happy though, are smiles really supposed to work like that? "Why are you back? Actually, I'm more concerned about WHAT you are exactly" you asked the strange rabbit suit that seemed like it had no one inside it and was moving on it's own.

"IT CAN SPEAK!?" You thought out loud. So now you know it can speak, but it sounds really raspy and British and most of all, glitchy? "I don't even know you so why would I ever think of following you, creep"
You didn't think something in a game would scare you to the point you'd think it can hurt you in real life. "Well, you're quite the smart one aren't you?" The creature said while chuckling. It spoke normally this time but it still sounded a little raspy and much more British this time. "Call me Glitchtrap, and I am sincerely sorry for scaring you dear. Hehe" You were way too confused to respond to that, how does it know what you asked? Isn't it a robot? Is it not a glitch nor an actual thing in game? All these questions were going through your head like crazy.

"Oh um sorry, what did you say again?" You asked as you started to feel a bit safer now that you know it kindly answered your question.  "I said, you can call me Glitchtrap. Don't make me repeat myself" great, he's got an attitude now. You were about to introduce yourself until it cut you off in the middle of your speech, "Y/N, I already know what your name is, no need to bother" how does he know? This made you feel just as scared and worried as you were before again.

"I was just feeling a little safer here but you just had to ruin it didn't you!" His stupid smile annoyed you so much, this guy definitely seems like a coward. You were just about to put away your vr headset when glitchtrap teleported behind you. "Wait where did you go? Oh well I was leaving anyways, I really need to go eat breakfast"
Right after you said that you felt something grab your neck really tightly from behind. You put away your headset from your head as fast as you could and ran to the kitchen.

"Maybe if I finally eat breakfast I won't be as crazy as I am and stop seeing things" in fact, you weren't seeing things. All of this was real. It sounds fake and out of logic but it was real, you weren't in a dream and you're also not hallucinating. "Is it an illusion or a glitch..?" You constantly kept thinking, stood in front of the fridge wondering what you should eat today. It was empty though, there was only a bottle of expired milk and a banana that looked like it was left there for 5 years at its least. You aren't as rich as other people, you're still just a student and you're parents kicked you out of their house. You have no support at all.

"Maybe I should call Ivy" Ivy is your best friend, she's the type of friend you'd never see yourself making but here we are. She's really bubbly and probably gave you more care than your parents. *ring ring* *ring ring* "uhm hi this is Ivy, if I didn't answer your call on 13th of September I'm most likely in the hospital. You can call me back in a while, Thank you!" You almost thought that was actually her but it was just a voicemail. "She said she's in the hospital on the 13th of September which is today. That won't do any good" now you actually didn't have anyone's house to go to so you can actually properly eat. Ivy is your only friend unfortunately.

You were more worried about why she's at the hospital because a few days back she told you she had a really bad migraine. You didn't have time to visit her today though, the hospital is really far away and you don't have enough money to take the bus. You do have about £30 but you don't want to use it. You're thinking of using it more carefully so it lasts until next month which it probably won't. You were heading to the living room to sit down and chill but in a blink of an eye, he was there, sitting on the chair casually as if he didn't just try to strangle you to death. "GET THE F**K OUT OF MY HOUSE!!!"  You screamed as loud as you could but he didn't even flinch. He just stood up and started walking towards you but instead of backing away you just stayed in one spot waiting to see what kind of attack he would use this time.

"Have this, I won't hurt you. Not if you listen to me"  he handed you a chocolate bar to eat. His eyes changed, their more calm than before and aren't glowing. You took the chocolate but hesitated to even open it. You couldn't trust him after THAT.
"What are you waiting for? Don't want it then I'll take it" he tried taking it back but you moved your hands away. "Fine" you said and unwrapped the wrapping of the chocolate bar. This chocolate isn't sold at any store, you even can't find it on Google which made you not trust the chocolate even more. The name on the wrapping was 'bonnie bites' Wait a minute, you've seen this in the game. Did he just make something from a game real? You couldn't handle your hunger anymore. At this point you would even eat that banana and drink the spoiled milk so you just bit a huge chunk of the chocolate bar.

"..." You looked at Glitchtrap with an angry expression on your face. "What? Why are you looking at me like that, hehe" it took you a moment to respond since you didn't want to admit this "it's good.. I like it" You said. "Aaww, why did you look so upset then?" You were upset because you didn't want to say something good about something that HE gave you. You hated him before you even knew anything about him and you hate him even more now. Why does he have to be so cocky. "Where's my thank you?" Everytime he spoke it made you want to throw up, can't he just have something good to say for once. "Whatever, thanks" You really didn't mean it.

You finished the rest of the chocolate and went back to your bedroom. "STOP following me" the one who wanted you to follow him is now following you instead. This was getting so uncomfortable. "But I want to, this is like my own home now" what does he mean by that, such a weirdo. You decided to stay calm and ignore this while still thinking you're seeing things. You layed in bed and fell asleep immediately because of how tired you were. You had just woke up like an hour ago but there's so much going on that you had to sleep again.
